Introduction
In Industry 4.0, the IoT, AI, and Big Data are emerging technologies as the key to success in most industrial fields. Based on these technologies, various types of services and products are released, and platform companies with data and technology capabilities have significant impacts on the global economy and society. Understanding the platform and ICT industry is essential in line with these changes. In addition, an understanding of humans, technology, and interaction between society and technology is necessary to cultivate leaders these days. Therefore, Transdisciplinary Studies on Human ICT aims to teach the principles and methods of creating human-centered artificial intelligence technologies and services with various disciplines such as media studies, computer engineering, business administration, psychology, and human factors. Based on these, our major intends to focus on solving social problems caused by the technology rather than just focusing on the technology, and enhancing students’ abilities to plan and manage human-centered platforms and services.
Goals
- Cultivate leaders who will lead the era of intelligent information technology.
- Nurture capabilities to plan and manage platform services based on technology and data.
- Teach how to understand the technology-based problems on humans and society, and solve them in various approaches.
- Train to build capabilities for designing the human-centered technology and communicating with different stakeholders in the ICT ecosystem.
