Introduction
The Major of Information and Communications Engineering has its goal of providing high-quality professional technology education in the information and communication engineering fields. This goal is a great demand in the new era of the creative economical society of rapidly-growing information and communication related governmental and commercial industry. The department focuses on practical adaptable education and theoretical research to help students learn related technology. The curricula offered in the department are classified as three major areas such as information processing, communication systems and instrumentation/control.

Goals
The goal is Human Resources Development in the Information and Communication Sector, the Foundation Technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.Engineers with basic engineering knowledge and creativity necessary for the field of information and communication engineering. Engineers with excellent problem-solving skills based on expertise and foreign language communication skills. Engineers with excellent field adaptability by strengthening laboratory training and design training. Responsible and cooperative engineers through basic knowledge education.
Types of Certified Licences
Information communication engineers, Wireless facility engineer, Signal electronic engineers, Signal communication engineers, Information processing engineers, Electronic calculator engineers, Electronic calculator organization application engineers, etc.
Possible Careers After Graduation
Successful graduation of the Department provides a recruit for serving industries and research institutes in areas of information and communication engineering such as electrical and electronic companies (SAMSUNG, LG, KT,...), heavy industries(HYUNDAI, DUSAN,...), automobile companies, public enterprise(Korea Hydro&Nuclear Power CO, Busan Tranportation Co,...) as well as governmental institutes, Multimedia-related enterprise and research centers, educational/internet/computer game software development enterprises, PC communication companies, animation-related companies, media organizations such as newspaper companies, broadcasting companies, CATV and advertising companies.
