Introduction
Biomedical Engineering is a new fusion study between engineering and biomedics, and it applies engineering theory and techniques to the medical field. It makes possible the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases by analyzing new problems occuring in the medical field and applying engineering ability and design techniques to solving them. The specific areas are: Biomedical Engineering is an interdisciplinary field between engineering and medicine Application of biomedical techniques can suffice unmet or undeserved clinical needs and improve quality of life.
Goals
Nurture intellectuals who can develop core techniques by bringing innovation to the medical field in the 21th century. Instruct next generation of biomedical engineers who can learn core biomedical technologies and eventually bring innovation to health care industry
