The Major of Police Science&Criminal Psychology cultivates a high qualified person with both theory and practice through the development of character and ability as an expert handling people’s lives and the systematic education about comprehensive theory and practice related to safety field, fire prevention and disaster prevention field, police field, probation field, correction field and so on.
Educational Objective
The department has objectives for cultivating a capable person necessary to ensure the public safety and security, protect the life and property of society and citizen from natural disasters and industrial accidents, and protect the people from various social dangers.
Future Prospect of Department
The department learns comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practice about police and police administration, law, and safety. Therefore, It is possible to enter the field of police, marine safety and security police, fire prevention and disaster prevention, civilian security and protection, industrial facility safety management, probation and correction as well as general company’s security after graduation.
