- by enhancing performance management system through advanced technology, expects momentum on the journey towards becoming a glocal university

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) announced the completion of the system enhancement project on the university performance management aimed at maximizing university innovation and efficiency.

Under the supervision of the Future-ready education center, Pukyong National University embarked on upgrading its real-time data-based performance management system from November of last year until February of this year, entering full-fledged operation.

Recently, as companies are pursuing management innovation in response to the great digital transformation and are expanding the introduction of performance management systems based on real-time data to systematically manage and improve the performance of members and departments, Pukyong National University has also begun to upgrade and operate this system.

Pukyong National University plans to use it not only to support students' successful advancement into society and career paths, but also to innovate university management and establish university development strategies by using this system, analyzes numerous on-campus data derived in real time, such as student counseling, academic information on the status of curricular and extracurricular activities, professors' research performance, budget, employment rate, and industry-academia cooperation, and monitors the performance of all departments and projects.

In line with this, Pukyong National University has enhanced statistical functions and analysis tools within the system to evaluate various performances quantitatively and qualitatively by visualizing and structuring the data, and has improved the efficiency of performance analysis within the institution.

Furthermore, by integrating real-time data from existing academic administration information systems and industry-academia related databases, Pukyong National University has enabled swift evaluation and analysis of university performance, facilitating strategic decision-making.

Pukyong National University expects to gain momentum in achieving the goal of specialization for a glocal university and the convergence of advanced industries through the utilization of this system, with plans to hold explanatory sessions for all members and departments to promote its utilization and facilitate widespread adoption. <Pukyong Today>
