Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) has been selected as an excellent institution in the ‘Government Comprehensive Evaluation of Commodity Management 2021’ by the Public Procurement Service (PPS).

Pukyong National University received a commendation from the head of the Public Procurement Service as it was selected as an excellent institution as a result of the 'Government Commodity Management Comprehensive Evaluation' at the first commemorative event of Procurement Day held at the Government Sejong Convention Center on September 30th.

The university was recognized for its contribution to efficient government commodity management by improving the goods management system, such as the real-name system for managed goods by administrative staff and the goods 3R movement, while consistently achieving excellent results in the RFID-based goods management system.

In particular, the university received good evaluation for efforts such as preparing efficient standards for purchasing goods, implementing on-site commodity management services, providing efficient goods support for the establishment of a COVID-19 quarantine system, regularly disposing of unused goods, and purchasing customized goods for new buildings.

During the celebration, the award ceremony was held for six excellent institutions, including Pukyong National University, and 19 public officials of merit, which received excellent evaluations in the comprehensive evaluation of government commodity management by improving services to the public and reducing budgets. <Pukyong Today>
