Foreign National Student Intern Program
The Foreign National Student Intern Program is designed for students who are non-U.S. citizens seeking internships with U.S. Missions abroad. Students will gain valuable experience in various areas of foreign policy and management, and possible academic credit in respective institution. There are no benefits, compensation, or any future employment rights attached to student participation in the FNSIP.
The internship period will be determined between the applicant and section during the interview. The internship will begin around July/August 2024 to January/February 2025 for a maximum of six months. A Certificate of Internship will be issued for students who complete at least 90 days of the program. Please check the required period of internship for the position for which you are applying.Required Documents:
