부경대학교가 교육과학기술부의 교육역량강화 지원사업 성과평가에서 우수대학으로 선정됐다.

이로써 부경대는 2009년도 사업부터 2011년도 사업까지 3년 연속으로 성과 우수대학으로 선정되는 쾌거를 올렸다.

2012년도에는 교육역량강화 지원사업에 5년 연속 선정돼 전국 최대 규모인 42억2천만 원의 지원금을 받은 부경대는 이번 우수대학 선정에 따른 인센티브를 포함해 총 44억2천8백만 원의 지원금을 받게 됐다.

부경대의 교육역량강화 지원사업은 다짐트랙(인성교육), 키움트랙(글로벌역량), 이룸트랙(취업역량) 등 3단계로 나누어 기초 학습부터 취업역량까지 체계적인 교육프로그램을 운영하는 것이 특징이다. 특히 학생들의 자발적 참여를 유도하기 위해 운영하는 ACM(Academic Credit Mileage)이라는 포인트 적립제가 좋은 평가를 받고 있다.

부경대는 우수한 재능을 갖춘 인재를 집중 육성하기 위해 다양한 장학 지원사업과 기초학력 및 학습능력 향상을 위한 Basic 학습역량 강화사업, 저학년부터 고학년까지 취업과 진로에 대한 방향을 잡아주는 맞춤형 취업지원 프로그램 등을 운영하고 있다.

독서를 통한 인문학적 사고력 향상을 위한 독서삼품제, UN참전용사들을 위해 봉사활동을 하는 UN Supporters, 동아시아 3개국이 함께하는 국제공동계절학기 등이 부경대만의 차별화된 프로그램이다.

한편 부경대는 2011년도 대학 교육역량강화 지원사업 우수사례 공모 우수 대학, 2010년도 대학 교육역량강화 지원사업 성과평가 우수 대학 및 사업계획 컨설팅 결과 최우수 대학, 2009년도 대학 교육역량강화 지원사업 우수사례 공모 우수 대학 및 성과평가 결과 우수 대학으로 선정되는 등 탁월한 성과를 내고 있다.<부경투데이>

PKNU has been selected as a university of quality for 3 years in a row from the government supporting program for the reinforcement of education capability.
- It was evaluated by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. PKNU received a 1.5 billion won incentive as a result of being selected as a university of quality for 3 years in a row.

PKNU (President Young-Seup Kim) was selected as a university of quality through a performance evaluation which was conducted by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology for the government supporting program for the reinforcement of education capability.

Thus, PKNU has succeeded in being selected as a university of quality with high performance for 3 years in a row from 2009 to 2011.

In 2012, as selected from the government supporting program for reinforcement of education capability for 5 years in a row, PKNU could receive 4.2 billion and 20 million won as a support fund. As a result, PKNU will get a 4.4 billion and 8 million won incentive from the government.

PKNU’s reinforcement business of education capability has a special system that is divided into 3 stages - promise track (for personality education), raising track (for global capability), and achieving track (for capability of employment). In addition, ACM (Academic Credit Mileage) which is a point saving system for attracting voluntary participation from students received a favorable evaluation.

PKNU runs many programs for training outstanding individuals such as Basic Reinforcement Business of Education Capability with various encouragement systems for the improvement of learning abilities and basic standards, and customized employment-supporting programs for choosing an employment direction from freshman to seniors.

The university also has specialized programs such as reading competitions for improving thinking skills about humanity by reading a book, UN supporters for voluntary work for UN war veterans, and international collaboration vacation sessions with 3 countries in East Asia.

Meanwhile, PKNU is achieving outstanding outcomes such as being selected as a university of quality in the government’s university supporting program for the reinforcement of education capability in 2011, the performance evaluation and outcome from the consulting business plan in 2010, and by achieving good results in the 2009 evaluation.<Pukyong today>
