부경대학교 법학과 4학년 장용석 학생(26세)이 제30회 법원 행정고등고시(5급) 최연소 합격의 영예를 안았다.

그는 올해 치러진 법원 행정고등고시 시험에서 480대 1의 경쟁률을 뚫고 26세의 나이로 최연소 합격했다.

그는 내년 2월부터 대법원에서 5급 법원사무관으로 근무하며 법원 행정 및 사법보좌관 등의 업무를 담당하게 된다.

장용석 학생은 지난해 이 시험에 응시해 근소한 차이로 아쉽게 떨어진 후 올해 다시 도전해 합격했다. 그는 “법원 등 법조계에 진출하는 것이 꿈이었다.”면서, “이를 위해 3학년부터 법 공부에 집중한 것이 좋은 결과를 얻은 것 같다.”고 말했다.

그는 “고시 준비생들에게 전문 교재와 강의 프로그램을 제공해주는 학교의 지원이 큰 도움이 됐다.”면서, “학원 공부도 좋지만 제 스스로 공부 계획을 세워 이를 착실히 지켜온 것이 합격에 주효했다.”고 말했다.

그는 “앞으로 법 공부를 더 열심히 해 전문성을 키워 법조계의 선진화에 기여할 수 있는 법원공무원이 되고 싶다.”고 포부를 밝혔다.<부경투데이>

Yongsuk Jang (26), a senior in the PKNU Law Department, got the honor as the youngest man to pass the higher court service examination.

Mr. Jang passed the 30th court administration exam as the youngest person through a competition of 480 to 1.

He will work as a court secretary from February in the Supreme Court and be in charge of court administration and judicial clerkship.

He failed to pass the examination last year, but he tried again and made it. "I always dreamed of working in the field of law, so I focused on my studies and that is why I could make it," he said.

He said that the university program offering professional books and lectures to examinees was quite helpful. He also said that making his own study plan and keeping it in mind was more effective than attending an exam institution.

He spoke of his aspirations, explaining that he wants to be a court official to contribute<Pukyong Today>
