부경대학교가 중소기업청 주관 2016년 거점형 창업선도대학으로 선정됐다.
부경대는 지난해 일반형 창업선도대학으로 선정된 데 이어 1년 만에 거점형 창업선도대학으로 선정돼 2020년까지 5년 동안 최대 175억 원을 지원받게 됐다. 일반형 창업선도대학 사업에 비해 약 50억 원이 늘어난 금액이다.
이번에 거점형 창업선도대학으로 선정된 대학은 부경대와 충북대, 한국산업기술대 등 전국에서 3곳이다.
거점형 창업선도대학 사업은 대학생 등 예비창업자들을 지원하는 일반형 창업선도대학 가운데 창업지원 인프라와 역량이 특히 우수한 대학을 선정, 집중 지원함으로써 사업 효과를 극대화하기 위한 것이다.
이번 사업 선정으로 부경대 창업지원단(단장 권순목·사진)은 지난해부터 운영해온 창업 프로그램과 함께 ‘창업 준비 공간’, ‘집중형 교육프로그램’, ‘맞춤형 멘토링’ 등 창업 지원 프로그램을 추가로 운영한다.
부경대 창업지원단은 용당캠퍼스 산학협력관을 비롯해 3공학관, 학생회관 등에 18실 1406.29㎡ 규모의 ‘창업 지원 공간’을 마련해 예비창업자들이 시제품 제작, 창업교육, 멘토링, 기술매칭, 마케팅 등에 집중할 수 있도록 지원할 예정이다.
이와 함께 기초부터 심화, 선택, 사후관리 등 단계별 집중교육을 통해 창업 역량을 키워줄 계획이다. 경영, 마케팅 등 창업 관련 경력이 10년 이상인 멘토를 활용해 예비창업자들에게 창업 노하우를 전수해주는 맞춤형 멘토제도 운영한다.
부경대 창업지원단은 이달 중 최종 사업계획서를 중소기업청에 제출하고 5월부터 프로그램 운영에 나선다.
권순목 단장은 “그동안 창업선도대학 육성사업으로 PKNU-장보고형 창업인재를 발굴, 육성하고 우수한 창업 아이템을 개발하는데 집중해왔다.”면서 “앞으로 거점형 사업을 통해 지역의 창업 생태계를 구축하고 청년창업의 성공을 위해 적극적이고 주도적인 역할을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.<부경투데이>
PKNU Selected for the Official Leading University for Startup
- Up to ₩17,500,000,000 of budget support during 5 years
Pukyong National University was named the Small and Medium Business Administration’s 2016 Leading Universities for Startup Business - Official Training School Type, after the last year’s designation as a General Type School.
The change in the school type allows the University to be funded with a further 5 billion won budget, for a total up to ₩17,500,000,000 for 5 years by 2020.
Only three universities in the entire nation, Pukyong National University, Chungbuk National University and Korea Polytechnic University, were selected for the official school type this year.
This official type school is chosen among the general type schools, which can fuel the dreams of future entrepreneurs including university students, to amplify and boost its capacity and infrastructure through intensive support.
With this, PKNU’s Startup Business Support Group starts new programs, including Warm-up Space, Intensive Education Program and Tailor-made Mentoring, along with the existing programs.
The Warm-up Space where the members can create prototypes and concentrate on the academic side, mentoring, technical meeting and marketing will be arranged in the Center of Industry-University Cooperation, the Engineering Building #3 and the Student Union Building on Yongdang Campus with 18 rooms of 1406.29 square meters in total.
Different stages of startup education as well as the customized mentoring by experienced and knowledgeable mentors are also provided for the enhancement of the capacity.
The new programs will open this May.
