부경대학교(총장 김영섭)가 ‘대학의 평생교육체제 지원사업’에 선정됐다.

지난해 ‘평생교육단과대학 지원사업’에 부산에서 유일하게 선정됐던 부경대는 이번 사업에 거듭 선정됨에 따라 평생교육단과대학 운영에 탄력을 받게 됐다.

교육부와 국가평생교육진흥원이 올해 모두 231억 원을 지원하는 ‘대학의 평생교육체제 지원 사업’은 기존 ‘평생교육단과대학 지원사업’과 ‘평생학습 중심대학 지원사업’이 통합·개편된 사업으로 선취업 후진학을 활성화하고 성인학습자의 고등교육 기회를 확대한다는 것이 목적이다.

이에 따라 부경대는 평생교육단과대학 운영을 위해 올해 17억5천만 원을 지원받는다.

부경대 평생교육단과대학은 오는 9월 실시되는 2018년 수시모집 기간에 △평생교육·상담학과(55명) △기계조선융합공학과(45명) △전기전자소프트웨어공학과(45명) △공공안전경찰학과(55명) 등 4개 학과에 200명의 신입생을 모집한다. 종전 2개 학과가 폐지되고 공공안전경찰학과가 신설된 점이 특징이다.

지원 자격은 특성화고, 마이스터고 등 졸업 후 3년 이상 재직자 또는 고교 졸업자 중 만 30세 이상인 사람이다.

신설된 공공안전경찰학과는 경찰·해양안전경비경찰·소방방재 등 공공안전 분야의 이론 및 실무에 대한 능통한 전문가를, 평생교육‧상담학과는 평생교육 및 상담전문가로서의 우수한 직무역량을 갖춘 전문인력을 양성한다.

기계조선융합공학과는 기계 및 기관시스템의 기계, 중공업, 조선 및 해운업 분야 전문인력을, 전기전자소프트웨어공학과는 차세대 성장동력 산업인 전기전자소프트웨어 분야의 창의적 융합인재를 양성한다.

한편 이번 사업 공모에는 35개 대학이 신청해 1·2단계 평가를 거쳐 부경대·창원대·영산대 등 동남권 3개 대학을 비롯 전국 15개 대학(단과대학 유형 10개, 학부․학과 유형 5개)이 최종 선정의 영예를 안았다.(입학문의: 평생교육단과대학 행정실 629-6601~5) <부경투데이>


PKNU was selected as a ’Support for Lifelong Education System of Universities’.
- Recruit four departments, 200 people in the upcoming recruitment in following September

PKNU (President Kim Young-seup) was selected as the ’Supporting Lifelong Education System for Universities’.

PKNU, which was selected as the only university in the "Support Program for Lifelong Education College" last year, has been re-elected in this project, and it has been resilient to run the College of Lifelong Education.

The Ministry of Education and the National Institute for Lifelong Education support 23.1 billion KRW for this year, and the project to support the lifelong education system of universities is the integration and reorganization of the existing support programs for lifelong education colleges and universities. The goal is to promote post-employment entry and to expand opportunities for higher education for adult learners.

Accordingly, PKNU will receive 1.75 billion won this year to run a college of continuing education.

The Lifelong Education College of PKNU will be established in 2018 as a part of regular recruitment in 2018. △ Lifelong Education and Counseling Department (55) △ Mechanical Engineering and Convergence Engineering Department (45) △ Electrical and Electronic Software Engineering Department (45) △ Public Safety and Police Department 55 students) and 200 new students will be recruited for these four departments. It is characterized by the abolition of the former two departments and the establishment of the Public Safety and Police Department.

Those who have worked for more than 3 years after graduation, such as special schools, meister school graduates, who are 30 years of age or older.

The newly established Public Security Police Department is specialized in the theory and practice of public safety such as police, maritime safety, police, fire and disaster prevention, and the Lifelong Education and Counseling Department is specialized in lifelong education and counseling. It is nurtured.

Mechanical and shipbuilding engineering and engineering department is specialized in mechanical, heavy industry, shipbuilding and shipping industry in machinery and institutional system. Electrical and electronic software engineering department nurtures creative fusion talent in electric and electronic software industry which is next generation growth power industry.
