부경대학교 입학관리본부(본부장 김동명)는 24시간 온라인 수시모집 안내 챗봇 시스템 ‘백경이’ 개발을 완료하고 21일 서비스 제공에 나섰다고 이날 밝혔다. 챗봇이란 메신저 등에서 일상 언어로 대화할 수 있는 채팅로봇 프로그램이다. 이 프로그램을 적용한 부경대 ‘백경이’는 수험생들이 모바일기기나 컴퓨터로 언제든 접속해 수시모집 관련 궁금증을 묻고 답변을 받을 수 있다. 코로나19로 인해 대면 상담이 어려운 상황을 극복하는 것은 물론, 온라인으로 얼굴을 보며 상담하는 화상 방식도 부담스러워하는 수험생들을 배려한다는 취지로 개발됐다. 부경대 ‘백경이’에 접속해 입력창에 질문을 입력하면, 프로그램이 질문의 의도를 파악해 추천 답변을 제공한다. 수시모집 일정, 등록금 등 기본적인 질문은 물론, 궁금한 점을 콕 집어 질문해 답을 얻을 수도 있다. ‘학생부교과전형 수능최저기준은?’이라고 입력하면 수능최저학력기준이 있는 전형 종류를 제시하고, 특정 전형을 선택하면 그 전형의 상세 내용까지 제공해주는 방식이다. 이밖에도 △수시전형안내 △학생부 반영방법 △전형일정 및 모집인원 △합격자발표 및 등록 △원서접수 및 유의사항 △학과안내 △입학성적결과 및 성적계산기 △입학자료 및 FAQ 등 9가지 메뉴를 기본 탑재해 모집요강의 핵심 내용을 우선 확인할 수 있다. 부경대 전 학과의 소개자료가 수록돼 있어 관심학과 정보를 얻거나, 각 학과의 2019‧2020학년도 전형별 입학성적을 확인하고, 자신의 내신성적까지 직접 계산해보는 것도 ‘백경이’에서 가능하다. ‘백경이’는 부경대 입학본부 홈페이지에 탑재돼 있다. 부경대 김동명 입학본부장은 “코로나19로 많은 어려움을 겪고 있을 수험생들에게 필요한 정보를 언제든 쉽고 빠르게 찾을 수 있는 이 시스템이 유용하게 활용되길 바란다.”라고 말했다. <부경투데이> 24시간 온라인 수시모집 안내 챗봇 시스템 ‘백경이’ 화면 이미지 △ |

PKNU has launched chatbot software program 'Baek-kyong-yi' service for supporting online rolling admissions
While universities are expanding their un-tact admissions counseling services ahead of their rolling admissions next year, a chatbot system that provides online 24-hour admissions counseling is attracting public attention.
The office of General Admissions at Pukyong National University (Chief, Kim Dong-myeong) has announced on the day that they completed the development of the 24-hour online rolling admissions guide chatbot system 'Baek-kyong-yi' and started providing services on the 21, September.
Chatbot is AI Chat robot program that can communicate in everyday language through messengers. Pukyong National University’s 'Baek-kyong-yi' which is applied this program allows college entrance examinees to access anytime with a mobile device or computer to ask questions and receive answers to questions related to the rolling admissions.
It was developed with the intent of overcoming the difficult situation of on-tact counseling due to COVID-19, as well as to consider the examinees who may feel pressure with the online video counselling.
When you access to Pukyong National University's 'Baek-kyong-yi' and enter a question in the input window, the program identifies the intention of the question and provides recommended answers. In addition to basic questions such as admissions schedules and tuition fees, you can also get answers by asking specific questions.
