국립부경대, ‘3,220명 졸업’ 학위수여식 개최

국립부경대학교(총장 배상훈)는 2월 21일 오전 대학본부 2층 대회의실에서 배상훈 총장, 박세호 총동창회장, 강정호 해군교육사령관, 졸업생, 학부모 등이 참석한 가운데 2025년 2월 학위수여식을 개최했다.
국립부경대의 2025년 2월 학위수여자는 박사 145명, 석사 419명, 학사 2,656명 등 총 3,220명이다.
이날 행사에서 학부 성적 우수자로 윤지언 학생(화학공학과)이 총장상, 정빈 학생(건축학전공)이 총동창회장상을 받았다.
배상훈 총장은 이날 졸업생들에게 “경청을 통해 귀를 열고 마음을 열어 세상을 경청하며 여러분의 영역을 무한대로 넓혀나가시기를 바란다. 또 실패는 끝이 아닌 성공의 지연된 형태이며 그 끝에는 더욱 큰 세상과 성공의 결실이 기다리고 있을 것.”이라고 말했다.
이어 “미래 사회에서 창의력이야말로 가장 큰 경쟁력이 될 것이다. 실력을 기르기 위해 실패를 두려워 말고 수많은 경험을 쌓길 바란다. 여러분이 굳건하게 쌓아 올린 견고한 루틴과 성실함을 통해 실력을 기르고, 자신만의 경험을 쌓아나가길 바란다.”라고 강조했다.
한편, 국립부경대는 이날 학위수여식을 온라인을 통해 실시간 중계하고, 캠퍼스 곳곳에 포토존을 설치해 졸업생들이 추억을 남길 수 있도록 지원했다. <부경투데이>
Pukyong National University Holds Graduation Ceremony for 3,220 Students
- February 21 at the University’s Main Conference Room
Pukyong National University (President Bae Sang-hoon) held its 2025 February graduation ceremony on February 21 at the university's main conference room, with the attendance of President Bae Sang-hoon, Alumni Association President Park Se-ho, Naval Education Commandant Kang Jeong-ho, graduates, and their families.
A total of 3,220 students received their degrees at the ceremony, including 145 doctoral candidates, 419 master's students, and 2,656 bachelor's students.
During the event, excellent students in each department were honored, with Yun Ji-eon (Department of Chemical Engineering) receiving the President’s Award, and Jeong Bin (Department of Architecture) receiving the Alumni Association President's Award.
President Bae Sang-hoon of Pukyong National University addressed the graduates, saying, "I hope you open your ears and hearts through listening, and listen to the world around you as you expand your horizons endlessly. Remember that failure is not the end but a delayed form of success, and at the end, a greater world and the fruits of success will await you."
He continued, "In the future society, creativity will be the greatest competitive edge. I hope you will not fear failure in order to cultivate your skills and gain a wealth of experience. Through the solid routines and sincerity you have built, develop your abilities and continue to accumulate your own unique experiences."
Meanwhile, Pukyong National University broadcast the graduation ceremony live online and set up photo zones throughout the campus to allow graduates to capture memories of the event. <Pukyong Today>
