국립부경대, 지·산·학·연 협력으로 ‘글로컬대학 굳히기’
- 27일 7개 기관 모여 ‘과학기술 유관기관 공동 심포지엄’ 개최

국립부경대학교(총장 배상훈)가 지역과 산업계, 연구기관과의 유기적인 협력네트워크를 내세우며 글로컬대학 사업 굳히기에 나섰다.
국립부경대는 3월 27일 오전 11시 부경컨벤션홀에서 ‘2025년 국립부경대학교-과학기술 유관기관 공동 심포지엄’ 행사를 개최했다.
이날 국립부경대를 비롯해 과학기술사업화진흥원, 연구개발특구진흥재단, 한국재료연구원, 한국생산기술연구원, 부산테크노파크, 부산과학기술고등교육진흥원 등 7개 기관이 한자리에 모였다.
국립부경대는 올해 글로컬대학30 사업의 마지막 선정을 앞두고 대학의 강력한 과학기술 분야 지·산·학·연 네트워크를 부각해 첨단 분야를 이끄는 대학으로서 위상과 비전을 대내외에 확실히 부각한다는 목표로 이번 행사를 마련했다.
심포지엄은 이날 오전 한국재료연구원 최철진 원장의 기조강연 ‘국가 소재산업 발전 및 국가·사회문제 해결 전략’에 이어 ‘ESG 시대의 지속가능 과학기술 인재와 산업의 미래’를 주제로 한 각 기관 전문가들의 초청강연으로 진행됐다.
오후에는 과학기술산업화진흥원 김진규 본부장의 ‘과학기술사업화와 인재양성’, 부산과학기술고등교육진흥원 윤지언 본부장의 ‘부산과학기술지원정책’, 부산테크노파크 안성관 팀장의 ‘부산시 전략산업과 육성정책’, 국립부경대 고민성 교수의 ‘에너지혁신 신소재’ 강연이 열렸다.
이어 한국재료연구원 이상복 본부장의 ‘밀리미터파 대역 전자파 흡수 복합소재 개발’, 한국생산기술연구원 하경남 그룹장의 ‘지능형 가상현실 로봇산업’, 연구개발특구진흥재단 김민성 팀장의 ‘공공기술사업화와 산학협력의 역할’, 국립부경대 안예찬 교수의 ‘첨단 의공학 산업기술 및 인재양성’ 강연이 진행됐다.
배상훈 총장은 “과학기술 유관기관들과 함께 공동 연구와 기술개발 기회를 확대하며 새로운 협력의 기회를 창출해 나가겠다. 우리의 노력이 실질적인 산업 문제 해결과 과학기술 발전의 새로운 이정표가 될 것으로 확신한다.”라고 밝혔다. <부경투데이>
Pukyong National University, Strengthens ‘Glocal University’ Through Collaboration with Industry, Academia, and Research Institutions

Pukyong National University (President: Bae Sang-hoon) has taken steps to solidify its ‘Glocal University’ initiative through a strong collaborative network with local communities, industries, and research institutions.
On March 27th, the university hosted the ‘2025 Pukyong National University - Joint Symposium of Science and Technology-Related Institutions’ at the Pukyong Convention Hall.
The event brought together seven organizations, including Pukyong National University, the Korea Institute for the Advancement of Technology (KIAT), the Research and Development Special Zones Promotion Foundation, the Korea Institute of Materials Science (KIMS), the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH), Busan Technopark, and the Busan Institute for Science and Technology Education & Promotion.
Pukyong National University, with the final selection of the Glocal University 30 Project approaching this year, organized the symposium to highlight its strong regional-industry-academic-research network in the field of science and technology. The goal is to establish the university’s status and vision as a leading institution in advanced fields both domestically and internationally.
The symposium began with a keynote lecture by Choi Cheol-jin, President of the Korea Institute of Materials Science, on the topic ‘National Materials Industry Development and Strategies for Solving National and Social Issues.’ This was followed by invited lectures from experts from various institutions on the theme ‘The Future of Sustainable Science and Technology Talent and Industry in the ESG Era.’
In the afternoon, Kim Jin-gyu, Director of the Korea Institute for the Advancement of Science and Technology, gave a lecture on ‘Science and Technology Commercialization and Talent Development,’ followed by presentations from Yoon Ji-eon, Director of the Busan Institute for Science and Technology Education & Promotion, on ‘Busan’s Science and Technology Support Policies,’ and Ahn Seong-gwan, Team Leader at Busan Technopark, on ‘Busan’s Strategic Industries and Development Policies.’ Pukyong National University’s Professor Go Min-seong concluded the session with a lecture on ‘Energy Innovation and New Materials.’
The symposium continued with presentations from Lee Sang-bok, Director of the Korea Institute of Materials Science, on ‘Development of Millimeter-Wave Band Electromagnetic Absorbing Composite Materials,’ Ha Kyung-nam, Group Leader at the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, on ‘Intelligent Virtual Reality Robotics Industry,’ Kim Min-seong, Team Leader at the Foundation for the Promotion of Technology in Research and Development Zones, on ‘The Role of Public Technology Commercialization and Industry-Academia Collaboration,’ and Ahn Ye-chan, Professor at Pukyong National University, on ‘Advanced Biomedical Engineering Industry Technologies and Talent Development.’
Pukyong National University’s President Bae Sang-hoon emphasized, “We will expand collaborative research and technological development opportunities with science and technology-related institutions, creating new opportunities for cooperation. I am confident that our efforts will become a new milestone in solving practical industry problems and advancing science and technology.” <Pukyong Today>
