박필선 세영식품 대표, ‘80주년’ 국립부경대에 1억 5천만 원 쾌척
- 80주년 기부 릴레이 잇달아 … 23일 발전기금 전달식

국립부경대학교(총장 배상훈)는 12월 23일 오후 대학본부 접견실에서 박필선 세영식품(주) 대표이사 발전기금 전달식을 개최했다.
박필선 대표는 이날 “내년 80주년을 맞는 국립부경대의 혁신과 도약에 보탬이 되기를 바란다”라며 1억 5천만 원을 배상훈 총장에게 전달했다.
박필선 대표는 지난 40여 년간 식품 관련 사업을 키워오며, 세영식품(주)을 부산 지역을 대표하는 단체급식회사로 성장시킨 기업인이다. 현재 국립부경대를 비롯한 학교 등을 대상으로 사업을 운영하며 지역 우수 기업으로 인정받고 있다. 최근에는 국립부경대로부터 공로상을 받기도 했다.
박필선 대표는 “회사를 운영하면서도 부경CEO아카데미를 수강하며 매주 대학에서 좋은 수업을 들을 수 있었는데, 마침 대학이 80주년을 기념하는 데 동참할 수 있어 큰 보람을 느낀다”라면서, “우리의 미래인 학생들이 대학에서 마음껏 배우고 세계에서 활약하는 데 도움이 되면 좋겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
국립부경대는 내년 개교 80주년을 앞두고 릴레이 기부 운동을 펼치고 있다. 지난 12월 18일 정용표 ㈜케이에이엠 대표이사의 3억 원 기부(1호)에 이어 박필선 대표(2호)가 이번에 동참했다.
국립부경대는 모금된 발전기금으로 우수 인재 양성과 학술연구 사업 등을 지원하며 연구중심대학, AI 혁신·글로벌 특성화 대학으로 도약할 계획이다. <부경투데이>
CEO Park Pil-Seon of Seyeong Foods Donates KRW 150 Million to Pukyong National University for Its ‘80th Anniversary’

Pukyong National University (President Bae Sang-Hoon) held a development fund delivery ceremony for CEO Park Pil-Seon of Seyeong Foods Co., Ltd. on the afternoon of December 23 in the reception room at the university’s main administration building.
At the event, CEO Park Pil-Seon expressed, “I hope this contribution will support Pukyong National University’s innovation and its next leap forward as it celebrates its 80th anniversary next year,” and presented KRW 150 million to President Bae Sang-Hoon.
CEO Park Pil-Seon of Seyeong Foods Co., Ltd. is an entrepreneur who has expanded the food-related business sector for over 40 years, leading Seyeong Foods Co., Ltd. to grow into one of Busan’s most prominent institutional catering service providers. The company currently operates services for schools and educational institutions, including Pukyong National University, and is recognized as a leading local enterprise. CEO Kim was also recently honored with a Distinguished Service Merit Award from Pukyong National University for her contributions.
CEO Park Pil-Seon stated, “Even while managing the company, I had the privilege of attending excellent lectures every week through the Pukyong CEO Academy. It is especially meaningful to now join the university’s 80th anniversary celebration through this donation,” adding, “I hope this support helps students―our future―learn freely, pursue their ambitions, and contribute actively on the global stage.”
Pukyong National University is carrying out a relay donation campaign ahead of its 80th founding anniversary next year. Following the KRW 300 million donation made by CEO Jeong Yong-Pyo of KAM Co., Ltd. on December 18 (the first contribution), CEO Park Pil-Seon has now joined the movement as the second contributor.
Pukyong National University plans to use the collected development funds to support outstanding talent cultivation and academic research initiatives, as it advances toward becoming a research-focused, AI-driven, globally specialized and distinctive university. <Pukyong Today>
