국립부경대, 기록관리 기관평가 ‘최우수’
- 국가기록원 2025년 평가결과 최상위 ‘가등급’ 획득
국립부경대학교(총장 배상훈)가 행정안전부 국가기록원의 ‘2025년 공공기관 기록관리 평가결과’에서 최상위인 ‘가등급’을 획득했다.
기록관리 평가는 공공기관의 기록관리 역량을 강화하고 개선하기 위해 격년으로 실시된다. 올해는 중앙행정기관, 특별지방행정기관, 국·공립대학교 등 총 248개 기관을 대상으로 진행됐다.
국립부경대는 이번 평가에서 기록관리 업무기반과 업무추진 등 전 분야에 걸쳐 우수한 점수를 받아 총점 96점으로 가등급에 올랐다. 42개 국·공립대학교 평균은 71.9점이었다.
국립부경대는 그간 평가에서 국·공립대학교 평균을 크게 웃돌며, 올해도 전담 부서를 중심으로 한 시설, 인력, 교육, 기록물의 보존과 이관, 분류 등에 대한 체계적이고 전문적인 역량을 인정받았다.
특히 기록물 데이터베이스 구축을 통해 기록물 열람 환경을 마련하고, 외부 고객 대상 기록서비스(기록관리 현장실습교육)를 제공하는 등 기록관 이용 활성화를 위한 이용자 중심 서비스를 운영해 우수한 평가를 받았다.
한편, 국가기록원은 기록관리 평가결과 우수 기관과 개선 노력 실적이 뛰어난 기관은 유공 포상 및 해외 선진사례 조사 기회를 제공하고, 미흡한 기관은 향후 현장지도, 맞춤형 교육을 실시할 계획이다. <부경투데이>
Pukyong National University Earns Highest Distinction in Institutional Records Management Evaluation
- Awarded the Top “Grade A” Rating in the 2025 Evaluation by the National Archives of Korea
Pukyong National University (President Bae Sang-Hoon) has achieved the highest “Grade A” rating in the 2025 Public Institution Records Management Evaluation conducted by the National Archives of Korea under the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The records management evaluation is conducted biennially to strengthen and improve the records management capabilities of public institutions. This year’s assessment covered a total of 248 organizations, including central administrative agencies, special local administrative bodies, and national and public universities.
Pukyong National University received outstanding scores across all evaluated areas―including institutional foundation and implementation of records management―earning the top “Grade A” with a total score of 96 out of 100 (96 points). The average score among 42 national and public universities assessed was 71.9 points.
The university has consistently performed well above the national and public university average in previous evaluations, and this year again demonstrated systematic and professional capacity in key records management domains such as infrastructure and facilities, dedicated personnel, training and education, preservation, transfer, and archival handover, classification and indexing of records, all led by its specialized records management department.
In particular, the university earned high praise for building a comprehensive records database to enhance the archival access and viewing environment, and for operating user-centered services to activate records center utilization―such as providing record services to external stakeholders, including hands-on field training programs (records management practicum education).
Meanwhile, based on the 2025 evaluation results, the National Archives of Korea plans to grant commendation awards and opportunities to study international best practices overseas to institutions that demonstrate outstanding performance and notable improvement efforts.
