PKNU museum and Busan Marine Natural History Museum made an agreement in the Audio-visual Room in PKNU museum on March 14th at 11 A.M. Both of the museums will try to exchange the academic information and the displayed materials through this agreement. In addition, they are going to hold the academic conferences and seminars in the field of Fisheries and Oceans together. Furthermore, they will strive to develop and operate many useful educational programs. Meanwhile, PKNU museum has displayed about 2300 artifacts including ‘Pukyongsaurus millenniumi’, which is the first restored native dinosaur, and ‘coelacanth’ which is the only 2 in Korea which is called ‘living fossil’ because its modified descendents are still alive. Therefore, PKNU museum has received a favorable evaluation as the museum having many materials in the field of Fisheries and Oceans among the other museums on universities. <Pukyong Today> <translator; Park Ha Won, dhzl0121@naver.com> |
