 <Interesting Event> Take a picture of PKNU!
- Gift certificates worth 50 thousand won for 40 students, Garlic Gochujangs worth 25 thousand won for 20 students were prepared as prizes.

PKNU is holding an interesting event which is called < Take a picture of PKNU > It is a photograph contest exhibit.

If you find an impressive landscape of PKNU,
Please show it to us by taking a picture.

It is possible to use all kind of materials, so long as they are related to PKNU.
It is fine to take a photograph of PKNU school buses which are also operated in Mongolia.
How about taking a picture of the small cultivator which is going around the PKNU campus?
What about Tsushima Island which can be seen from Yongdang campus?

Ah, there is something special in PKNU!
Maybe you can find something that other people did not know about in PKNU.
It could be a small thing, but it can make us smile.
In addition, it could be something that we want to show our friends - such as the wonderful scenery of PKNU, PKNU students’ beautiful faces, and all sorts of things in PKNU.

After taking a picture (that you want to show to many PKNU students) with your digital camera, you should post the picture on the PKNU “Facebook Wall”. After that, you have to send an email.

This event is being run by PKNU and the Food Processing Plant where the Garlic Gochujang (red pepper paste) was produced. They are helping to ensure that this event runs smoothly.

Please participate in this event.

< Take a picture of PKNU > - It is a photograph contest exhibit of PKNU.

□ Material
- It is possible to use all kind of materials, as long as they have some connection with PKNU. It can be wonderful scenery of PKNU, PKNU students’ beautiful faces, and all sorts of things in PKNU.
- It is also possible to use a PKNU image not only within campus but also within internal and external Korea.

□ Period of public participation: 2011. 8. 5 (Friday) ~ 2011. 9. 5 (Monday)

□ Target of this event:
PKNU enrolled students (except for students on a leave of absence), alumni, and faculty members.

□ How to enter this event:
If you want to participate in this event, you have to post your photo on the following place. One person must post only one photograph on the internet to take part in this event.

1. You have to post your photograph on the PKNU “Facebook Wall”. The address is http://www.facebook.com/pukyong.pknu, and you have to write a simple explanation about the picture. To recognize the picture easily, you have to write this title < Take a picture of PKNU > before adding the brief explanation. You do not have to put your personal information on the PKNU “Facebook Wall”.

2. You have to send an email to the following email address. You have to attach exactly the same photograph that you have already posted on the PKNU “Facebook Wall”. The email address is iloveu@pknu.ac.kr. In addition, you have to write your personal information such as your name, student number, phone number, and address.

□ Selection method:

You have to use images related to PKNU.
We are going to reflect the number of comments in the evaluation.
Using a novel idea is more important than having a good quality photograph in this evaluation.

□ The number of the prize winners: 60

□ The prizes:

Gift certificates worth 50 thousand won for 40 students
Garlic Gochujangs worth 25 thousand won for 20 students

□ Date of announcing the result: 2011. 9. 8(Thursday)
