The employment rate of PKNU came in 10th among the 4-year universities where the number of the graduated students should be more than 3,000 in Korea.
The employment rate of PKNU came in 10th among the 4-year universities where the number of the graduated students should be more than 3,000 in Korea. According to the report which was conducted by Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology on August 25th, the employment rate of PKNU was 10th as a 57.4%. In addition, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Sungkyunkwan University, Yonsei University, Korea University, Inha University, Hanyang University, Konkuk University, Seoul National University, and Kyungpook National University were in the top 10. Actually, PKNU is the only university in Busan to be included in the top 10 in rankings among the 4-year universities where the number of the graduated students should be more than 3000 in Korea. Especially, the employment rate of department of naval architecture and marine systems engineering was 95.7%, and that of department of refrigeration and air-conditioning engineering was 89.1%. In addition, the employment rate of division of advanced materials science and engineering was 80%, and that of department of mechanical engineering and department of mechanical system engineering were 72.5%. In this result of the statistics conducted by Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, to find the exact number of the employee, people who graduated from 556 higher educational institutions in Korea in August last year and in February this year and also took out an occupational health and safety insurance were only considered to be an employee.
