PKNU decides to postpone two weeks of spring semester due to corona virus Pukyong National University (President Kim Young-seup) announced on Feb.5 that the university decided to delay the opening of spring semester of the 2020 school year for two weeks from March 2 to March 16 in order to ensure the safety and active precautionary measure of the school’s members. In addition, Pukyong National University is proactively taking precautionary measures to ensure that all students who visit or pass through China, including Chinese international students, are obliged to live separately for 14 days in one of the student dormitories that can be blocked from outside. During the separate residence period, outside access is minimized, meals are provided for lunch, and the nurse of the health clinic conducts a fever test twice a day. Meanwhile, Pukyong National University formed the Emergency Response Committee on the 28th of last month to cope with the new coronavirus, and since 4th, the university has strengthened prevention activities by organizing and operating the 24-hour emergency response situation room. <Pukyong Today> |
