Pukyong Today 중국대학서 한약재 개발 가르친다 김세권 교수 중국 길림성 장춘중의약대학 약대 명예교수 위촉 한약재 소재 개발 관련 특강 

부경대학교 김세권 교수(화학과)가 중국 장춘중의약대학 약학원(원장 장대방) 명예교수로 위촉됐다. 우리나라 교수가 중국 대학 명예교수로 위촉된 것은 이례적인 일이다.

길림성에 위치한 장춘중의약대학은 1958년에 설립돼 학생 1만여 명이 재학하고 있으며, 2개 부속병원과 10개 전문병원을 운영하는 중국 중의약의 명문이다.

김 교수는 이 대학의 명예교수로서 해양생물자원을 이용한 한약재 소재개발 관련 특강을 할 예정이다.

김 교수의 명예교수 위촉은 최근 3년 동안 그가 지도한 박사 후 연구과정의 중국 유학생 리용 씨(38)가 20여 편의 논문을 발표하는 등 탁월한 능력을 인정받아 장춘중의약대학 교수로 채용된 것이 계기가 됐다.

이 과정에서 지도교수였던 김 교수의 해양생물관련 생리활성물질 개발에 대한 독보적인 연구능력이 주목받았고, 이 대학 총장과 약학원장이 김 교수를 명예교수로 초빙한 것이다.

김 교수는 2010년 국제해양생물공학회 등 5개 국제학회 초청 기조강연을 한 것을 비롯, 교과부로부터 ‘우수성과 100선’에 선정되었고, 2007년 영국 국제인명센터(IBC)로부터 ‘2007년 세계 100대 과학자(TOP 100 scientists 2007)’로 선정되는 등 연구역량을 인정받고 있다.

김 교수는 현재 국책사업 ‘마린바이오21사업’의 해양바이오프로세스연구단장을 맡아 해양생물을 이용한 다양한 연구를 진행하고 있다.<부경투데이>

Professor Kim Se Kwon will teach development of the medicinal herbs to Chinese students in China where oriental medicine was originated.
He is appointed to professor emeritus at Jangchunjoong College of pharmacy located GiLinSheng.
He is going to give a lecture about the development of the oriental herbs.

Professor of the department of chemistry, Kim Se Kwon, is appointed to professor emeritus at Jangchunjoong College of pharmacy (the principal of its graduate school : Jang Dae Bang) in China. It is very exceptional to be appointed Korean professor as a professor emeritus at college in China.

Jangchunjoong College founded in 1958 is located in GiLinSheng in China. There are about 10 thousands student to study there. Also, it has 2 hospitals affiliated with college, and 10 special hospitals. Therefore, it is one of the most prestigious colleges of pharmacy. As a professor emeritus, he is going to give a lecture about development of medicinal herbs by using resources of marine life in the ocean.

He can be a professor emeritus to Jangchunjoong College because he achieves recognition that he has his own wings. One of his representative achievements, for example, was to guide his Chinese student’s research work for last 3 years. After then, his student whose name is Lee Yong (38) presents about 20 papers at the conference successfully.

In this process, his unparalleled research skills about the development of phytonutrients related to marine life receive attention. Finally, the president of Jangchunjoong College and the principal of its graduate school ask him to be professor emeritus.

He has given many lectures in the International council for the marine life including 5 International Society in 2010. In addition, his achievements are selected as one of the excellent outcomes by education ministry. Also, he is selected as ‘TOP 100 scientists’ in 2007. These accomplishments show that he is recognized as a great person in his field.

He is proceeding national project called ‘Marine Bio 21 Business’ as a director of this project by using the resources of marine life. <Pukyong Today>
