스마트폰을 통해 실시간으로 강의를 듣고, 교수와 학생이 1:1로 토론하는 본격적인 ‘손 안의 강의실’이 부산에서는 처음 등장한다.
이로써 학생들이 스마트폰으로 언제 어디서나 온라인으로 강의를 듣는 것은 물론 질의응답, 과제제출, 실시간 강의 캡처 및 재생, 사전학습이나 복습, 강의 이해도 측정 등을 손쉽게 관리할 수 있는 ‘스마트 캠퍼스 시대’가 본격 열리게 됐다. 블랙보드는 기존의 이러닝 교육방식의 수준을 넘어 △수준별 교육, △학습스타일에 따른 맞춤형 학습, △자기주도형 학습이 가능하고, 교수와 학생, 학생과 학생간의 참여와 상호작용에 의한 창의적 교육과 능동적 참여가 가능한 학생중심의 학습활동이 이루어진다. 이와 함께 부경대는 학사·행정 모바일정보시스템, Wi-Fi 인프라 확충, FMC(유무선통합서비스) 인프라 구축, 모바일 보안 및 u-Class 도입 등도 추진한다. 이 같은 스마트 캠퍼스 구축을 위해 부경대와 (주)케이티(회장 이석채)는 2월 8일(화) 오후 4시 부경대 대학본부 3층 회의실에서 양해각서를 체결했다. 부경대 정보전산원 이재정 원장은 “블랙보드를 통해서 교육품질을 높이는 동시에 교육비용을 절감할 수 있으며, 유연하고 다이내믹한 교수 학습 프로세스를 통해 세계적 수준의 교육환경을 구축할 수 있게 됐다.”고 밝혔다.<부경투데이> ‘Lecture room in hand’ is going to appear for the first time in Busan. It means that the majority of students can take lectures almost instantly through their Smart-phones, have opportunity to discuss their ideas one on one between professors and students. PKNU which president is Park Maeng Eon is going to provide every faculty and student with Smart-phone since March of this year. Among many Smart-phones, Apple iPhone 4 is going to be given to them. Through this Smart-phone, it is possible to build the Blackboard System which means the interactive online study management system. It can be called a kind of the innovation in the existed study process. Actually, 60% of universities in America have already adopted this system. In addition, Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, Seoul National University, and Woosong University have already started to use this system. PKNU is going to build this system for the fourth time. However, it will be the first time to use this system among the other universities in Busan. By doing this, students can take lectures online through their Smart-phone anywhere and at anytime. Moreover, they can ask questions immediately, capture and replay their lectures. Besides, they can use this system to preview and review their lectures. Furthermore, they can freely express their opinion about the level of the understanding and the difficulty of their lectures. In other words, the smart campus age will begin. The Blackboard system is different from the teaching method of the existed e-learning. It will be much better. This system enables students to study by the level of their academic abilities. Also, they can study with their learning style. In addition, this system can lead voluntary participations and the creative educations between professors and students, between students and students. In other words, Blackboard system will enable student centered activities. Also, PKNU is planning to introduce information system through the mobile between students and administrations, projects to build Wi-Fi infrastructure and to open a combined wire-wireless service which is called FMC infrastructure, mobile security system, and U-Class system which means ubiquitous computing system. Meanwhile, PKNU concluded an agreement in order to make the smart campus with KT Corporation which president is Lee Seok Chae in the conference room which is located on the third floor of the Administrating Building on February 8th Tuesday at 4 P.M. The director of Information and Computer Center, Lee Jae Jeong, said. “Through this system, it is possible to increase qualities of the education as well as to reduce educational expenses. 부경대학교(총장 박맹언)는 3월부터 교직원과 학생 전원에게 스마트폰(아이폰4)을 지급하고, 기존의 학습 프로세스에 일대 혁신을 일으키는 온라인 쌍방향 학습관리시스템인 블랙보드 시스템(Blackboard System)을 구축한다. 미국 대학의 60% 이상이 채택하고 있는 이 시스템은 울산과기대, 서울대, 우송대에 이어 부산서는 처음 도입된다.
