세계 35개국 대학생 220명이 한 자리에 모여 언어와 문화를 교류하고 친구를 사귀는 국제교류행사가 열렸다.

부경대학교(총장 박맹언)는 7월 17일 오후 6시 대연캠퍼스 미래관 3층 비스타홀에서 외국인 학생과 부경대 학생 등 220여명이 모인 가운데 ‘국제교류의 밤’ 행사를 개최했다.

부경대 국제교류원과 국립국제교육원이 주관한 이번 행사에는 ‘대한민국 초청 주요국가 대학생 연수’ 프로그램에 참가한 외국인 학생 57명, 국제서머스쿨 참가 외국인 학생 81명, 원어민초청 프로그램 참가 외국인 학생 32명, 외국인 학생의 버디(Buddy)로 참가한 부경대생 50여명 등 부경대가 주관하는 국제교류 프로그램에 참가하고 있는 세계 35개국 220여명의 대학생들이 참석했다.

이들은 이날 행사에서 현재 참가하고 있는 국제프로그램을 서로에게 소개하고, 프로그램 참가 소감을 발표하는 등 세계 각국에서 온 대학생들과 한 자리에서 다양한 행사를 함께 진행하며 교류했다.

이날 행사에 참가한 다미안 카스틸레자 게라르도 시누헤 씨(31‧멕시코국립대)는 “한국의 다양한 국제교류 프로그램을 통해 좋은 친구와 멋진 추억을 만들 수 있었다.”면서, “고국에 돌아가서도 세계 여러 나라의 친구들과 계속 교류하고 싶다.”고 말했다.

한편 부경대는 50여 개국 1,000여명의 외국인 학생들이 유학 중이며, 원어민 학생들과 1:1 친구를 맺고 기숙사에서 함께 생활하며 교류하는 원어민 초청 프로그램, 방학 중 재학생들에게 해외 대학에서 전공강의를 듣는 것과 같은 환경을 제공하는 국제서머스쿨 등 다양한 국제교류 프로그램을 운영하고 있다.<부경투데이>

This event for International Relations was held with 220 students from 35 countries and it offered the students an opportunity to exchange their culture and languages. 

In the Vista Hall, on the 3rd floor of the future hall in Daeyeon Campus, Park Maeng Eon, the President of PKNU, held the "International Exchange Night" on 17th July at 6pm. Approximately 220 students, including foreign students and PKNU students, attended this event.

This "International Exchange Night" was conducted by the Office of International Relations of PKNU and the National Institute for International Education. It was attended by around 220 students from 35 different countries who are participating in the international exchange program conducted by PKNU. In total, 57 students from the 'Korean Government Invitation Program for Undergraduate Students from Major Partner Countries', 81 students from 'International Summer School", 32 students from 'Pukyong Cultural Exchange Program', and 50 students from 'Pukyong Buddy Program' attended the night.

Throughout the night, the students exchanged information about the international programs that they are taking and shared their feelings about it while they were enjoying various functions.

Sinuhe Damien Castilleja (31, Mexico National University) who attended this event mentioned that it had been a great opportunity to make good friends and memories through these various international exchange programs in Korea. He also said that he wants to keep in contact with friends from different countries after he goes back to his country.

Meanwhile, around 1000 exchange students from 50 countries are studying in PKNU, and PKNU is conducting many international exchange programs such as the 'Cultural Exchange Program' which offers a dormitory room for a foreign student and a PKNU student to share together. Also, this summer vacation the 'International Summer School' offers.<Pukyong Today>
