부경대학교가 전국 국·공립대학 가운데 전임교원 1인당 국내외 학술지 논문 게재 실적이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다.

교육과학기술부와 한국대학교육협의회는 27일 ’대학알리미(www.academyinfo.go.kr)’를 통해 고등교육기관의 전임교원 연구성과 등 15개 항목을 공시했다. 공시 대상은 4년제 일반대학 180개 대학이다.

이에 따르면 전임교원 1인당 국내·외 학술지 게재 논문 실적이 가장 높은 국·공립대학은 부경대와 부산대였으며, 사립대학은 포항공과대로 나타났다.

부경대는 지난 2011년 581명의 전임교원이 모두 735.3편의 논문을 발표해 1인당 논문 게재 실적이 1.27편을 기록했다. 이는 전년의 1.11편에 비해 14.4% 증가한 것이다. 전년대비 증가율도 국·공립대 상위 10위권 대학 중에서 가장 높았다.

국·공립대와 사립대를 포함한 전체 대학 순위는 포항공과대(1.39편), 광운대(1.35편), 고려대(1.30편) 한양대(1.30편) 부경대(1.27편) 부산대(1.27편) 서울대(1.25편), 연세대(1.20편), 성균관대(1.19편), 건국대(1.16편) 순이었다.

부경대 정중현 교무처장은 “우리 대학이 추진한 연구중심대학 육성사업인 2단계 BK21사업으로 논문 실적이 증가하는 등 전반적으로 대학의 연구역량이 크게 강화된 점이 이번에 지표로 나타난 것으로 분석된다.”고 밝혔다.

정 처장은 “특히 우리 대학의 LED-해양융합기술연구센터와 동남권산학협력선도대학육성사업단, 해양바이오프로세스연구단 등 특성화분야를 적극 살린 국책사업단의 연구실적도 대학 연구역량 강화에 큰 몫을 하고 있다.”고 밝혔다.<부경투데이>

PKNU is number one for thesis records in national universities
- The 15 fields of information disclosed such as the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology are products of each university’s study

PKNU has shown that the record of thesis publication for each person is the highest among domestic national universities.

On 27th September, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and the Korean Council for University Education published 15 fields such as products of full-time teachers in institutions of higher education through the web site www.academyinfo.go.kr. The object is 180 domestic universities.

According to this survey, the highest full-time teachers' record of thesis publication for each person both locally and abroad is Pukyong National University and Busan National University among national universities, and Pohang University of Science and Technology among private universities.

PKNU recorded 1.27 thesis units per person by publishing 735.3 units from 581 full-time teachers last year. The number improved by 14.4% compared with last year which was 1.11 thesis units per person. The rate of increase compared with last year was the highest among the top 10 national universities.

The rank, including national and private universities, is in the following order: Pohang University of Science and Technology (1.39 units), Kwangwoon University (1.35 units), Korea University (1.30 units), Hanyang University(1.30 units), Pukyong National University (1.27 units), Busan National University (1.27 units), Seoul National University (1.25 units), Yonsei University (1.20 units), Sungkyunkwan University (1.19 units), and Konkuk University (1.16 units).


The Dean of PKNU Academic Affairs, Joong-hyun Jung, said that he guessed this outcome is shown as an index of the improvement of the university's research capability. For example, one of PKNUs developing businesses for making PKNU a research-focused university, the two-step BK21 business, improved the record of thesis.

He also mentioned that the research record produced by the PKNU team of national policy business in specialized fields such as LED-Marine fusion R&D center, the team of a project for cooperation between academy and industry fields in the Southeast region, and the Marine bio process research team have helped to improve PKNU's development of research record.<Pukyong today>
