부경대학교 창업보육센터(센터장 권기룡)가 ‘2013년 창업아카데미’ 운영기관으로 선정됐다.
부경대는 중소기업청이 주관하는 이번 사업에서 ‘일반인 창업아카데미’ 부문 운영기관으로 선정돼 1억 5천만 원을 지원받아 창업교육프로그램을 운영한다.
‘창업아카데미’ 사업은 대학생 및 일반인 예비창업자들의 성공적인 창업을 지원하고 창업활성화를 위한 것이다. 이번 선정으로 부경대는 2009년부터 5년 연속 중소기업청 주관 예비창업자육성사업을 운영하게 됐다.
이에 따라 부경대 창업보육센터는 오는 18일 중소기업청과 사업 협약을 체결하고, 5월부터 12월까지 8개월간 2기에 걸쳐 부울경 예비창업자 70여명을 대상으로 창업아카데미를 운영한다.
이번 과정에 참여하는 예비창업자들은 자금 조달 및 시제품 제작, 마케팅 등 창업실무교육을 비롯 전문가 멘토링, 유관기관 네트워크 구축 등을 지원받게 된다.
특히 부경대 창업보육센터는 대학의 특성화 분야를 활용해 해양, 수산, 환경, 신소재개발, 플랜트, 물류, 식품가공, 문화컨텐츠 개발 등 동남경제권 성장 동력 산업분야를 중심으로 창업아카데미를 운영할 계획이다.
한편 1999년 문을 연 부경대 창업보육센터는 2012년까지 198개 기업이 입주하여 150개 졸업 기업을 배출했으며, 최근 3년간 141개 기업의 창업 및 운영을 지원해 특허출원, 공장등록 등 707건의 창업지원성과를 올리는 등 동남권 산학연협력사업의 중심교육기관으로 떠오르고 있다.<부경투데이>

The Pukyong National University Business Foundation Center (representative Gi-Ryong Kwon) has been selected as the operation agency for the Foundation Academy 2013.
Pukyong National University has been selected as the operation agency for a ’Business Creation Academy for Ordinary People’, and it will run an entrepreneurship education program with one hundred and fifty million won supported by the Small and Medium Business Administration.
The academic business plan was out in place to support university students or future entrepreneurs’ foundation and vitalizing it.
As a result, the Pukyong National University Business Foundation Center has signed a contract with Small and Medium Business Administration on the 18th of April and will operate an entrepreneurship academy 70 future entrepreneurs from Kyungnam province. The academy will take place over a course of eight months, from late April until December 2013.
Through this course, the students will be supported in terms of knowledge of finances, marketing, creating product samples, and building interagency networks through mentoring from experts in the field of business.
In addition, Pukyong National University will focus on the business concepts of developing southeastern economic growth in the fields of marine, fisheries, and the environment, developing new materials, plants, logistics, food processing, and developing digital culture contents.
Meanwhile, the Pukyong National University Business Foundation Center, founded in 1999, has assisted with the creation of 198 companies. The Center has an excellent reputation as the central educational facility in southeastern business and academic cooperation; it has achieved this title by supporting 141 companies for 3 years and providing foundation support to up-and-coming companies, such as patent application and factory registration.<Pukyong today>
