  Pukyong National University runs an English homepage to offer information to students in English. Department information, explanations of campus facilities, and directions to the university are all featured on this homepage. The highlight of this homepage is ’Pukyong Today’. This menu which is the most frequently updated feature is made up of two boards: ’PKNU Today’, offering news of the university translated into English, and a ’Notice’ board for columns from foreign students who are studying in PKNU. The ’PKNU Today’ board features news from PKNU’s Korean homepage which has been translated into English. The translated news offers information about the university to foreigners not only on campus, but off campus as well. One hundred and five articles have been posted on the ‘PKNU Today’ board since it started the English new service in 2010. The ’Notice’ board is for posting columns about foreign students’ life and experiences in Korea. These columns are also posted in the foreigner column section ‘Life in Korea’ of the local newspaper, <Busan Ilbo>. Any foreign students interested in posting information on the ‘Notice’ board are visit the PKNU promotional team(Administration Bldg 601). Further information about it is written in the guide book notice on the board, and individuals whose articles are posted shall receive a Korean souvenirs a thank you gift.<Pukyong today> |
