금융감독원이 해양·선박 금융 특화중심지인 부산에 필요한 금융인재 양성을 위해 부경대학교에 맞춤형 금융교육을 지원한다.
금융감독원 최수현 원장은 11월 14일 오전 10시 오순명 금융소비자보호처장, 김현열 금융교육국장, 장성훈 부산지원장 등과 함께 부산 남구 부경대를 방문, 대학본부 3층 회의실에서 김영섭 총장과 ‘금융교육 협력 등에 관한 업무 협약’을 체결했다. 금융감독원과 부산지역 대학과의 협약 체결은 이번이 처음이다.
이날 협약을 계기로 금융감독원은 대학생들의 금융역량을 제고하여 지역금융의 발전을 도모하기 위해 금융관련 강좌 및 특강 등 다양한 금융교육을 부경대에 지원한다.
금융감독원은 부경대 학생들에게 현장학습 기회도 제공한다. 금융동아리 활동 지원 및 금융감독원이 개발한 금융교육 교재도 지원한다. 양쪽 기관 간에 인적 물적 자원의 교류도 추진한다.
이와 함께 금융감독원은 12월까지 금융 감독에 대한 이해, 은행산업 현황 및 금융분야 진로 탐색 등을 주제로 금융 특강을 5회 실시한다. 이 과정을 이수한 학생에게 ‘FSS금융아카데미 일반과정’ 수료증을 발급한다.
금융감독원은 신용관리방법 등 신입생들이 꼭 알아야할 금융정보 특강을 비롯 금융감독원장과 금융회사 CEO 등 금융계 인사가 캠퍼스를 방문, 대학생들과 금융현안을 토론하고 진로 등을 조언하는 ‘꿈을 나누는 캠퍼스 금융토크’라는 산학 금융교육 프로그램도 진행하기로 했다.
최수현 원장은 이날 협약식에 이어 부경대 대학본부 대회의실에서 ‘최근 금융환경과 금융감독’을 주제로 부경대생들을 대상으로 특강을 개최했다.<부경투데이>
Financial Supervisory Service will support customized finance education for PKNU

Financial Supervisory Service(FSS) offers customized finance education to Pukyong National University for training finance experts who are especially needed in Busan because Busan is the capital of financing for maritime and shipping.
The governor of FSS, Chio Soohyun, visited Pukyong National University with Oh Soonmyung chief of Financial Consumer Protection Bureau, Kim Hyunyul director of Financial Education Department, and Jang Sunghoon director of Busan Area at 10am on the 11th of November. They made the contract with Kim Young-Seup, the president of PKNU, under the name of 'the business agreement about cooperation of financial education'. This is the first cooperation agreement between FSS and a Busan university.
Under this contract, FSS will offer various educational programs to PKNU based on student's capability about financing such as courses and lectures about financing for the improvement of local finance.
The institution will also offer opportunities for field trips, funds for financing clubs, and teaching materials for finance education. They are planning to push forward the exchange between the two institutions including human resources and material resources.
FSS also has a plan to offer five special lectures until the end of December about introduction to financial supervisory, the current situation of the banking industry, and career exploration in finance fields. The students who take this course can receive a certification of 'FSS Finance Academy General Course'.
FSS said it will plan the program "Financial Campus Talk for Sharing Dream" which includes a special lecture about necessary finance information for freshmen, such as how to manage credit, visiting of experts in financing circles including the CEO of financial company and FSS governor, and debating about financial issues.
After the ceremony of agreement, the governor of FSS gave a lecture about 'recent environment of finance and its supervisory' to PKNU students in the conference room of the Administration Building.<Pukyong today>
