부경대는 대학 특성을 살린 교육기부 프로그램 ‘여름해양과학캠프’와 ‘여름수산학교’를 운영하며 교육을 통한 사회적 기여 및 교육 경쟁력 향상 등의 성과를 인정받았다. 부경대가 1992년부터 매년 운영한 ‘여름해양과학캠프’ 프로그램은 중․고교생 및 교사를 대상으로 부경대 실습선을 이용한 해양자원 탐사 실습 및 선상체험 기회를 제공해 왔다. 1998년부터는 부산지역 중학생 및 교사를 대상으로 수산과학 분야 실험․실습프로그램을 통해 미래 수산 분야 전문 인력을 양성하는 ‘여름수산학교’를 해마다 운영해 왔다. 지금까지 이 두 프로그램 참가자 수는 각각 1,499명, 1,050명 등 총 2,549명에 이른다. 부경대는 이번 인증에 따라 대학이 보유한 교육자원을 교육기부 프로그램에 지속적으로 지원하는 등 프로그램 운영을 강화할 계획이다.<부경투데이> The certification system of excellent agency for education donation is a system that authenticates institutions that take the lead in establishment of culture to share with society and the reduction of education for creative human resource development. The certification body, awarded the specified tile with a certificate of designation, is provided with consulting experts on operational structure of the education program
The program "Summer Marine Science Camp", run by Pukyong National University every year since 1992, has provided middle and high school students and teachers with opportunities of ship boarding and exploration training of marine resources using the training ship of PKNU.
The number of participants in these 2 programs is up to the total of 2,549, 1,499 and 1,050 respectively so far. Pukyong National University is planning to strengthen the management of the program by supporting continuous educational resources that the university hols to the education donation program following this certification. <Pukyong Today> |
