이 사업단에는 부경대를 비롯 부산대 울산대 경상대 부산발전연구원 울산발전연구원 경남발전연구원 등 영남권 6개 대학과 연구소, 기업 등 모두 11개 기관이 참여한다. 한국해양과학기술진흥원으로부터 2017년까지 20억 원의 사업비를 지원받는다. 사업단은 현장사업단 및 분임연구사업단을 구성해 △해양문화관광 기반육성 연구, △지속가능한 연안보전·개발 연구, △어촌·어민 복지증진 연구, △해양수산분야 전문인력 양성 및 해양교육 활성화, △대민 교육 및 홍보사업 등을 추진한다. 해양수산분야 전문인력 양성을 위해 대학원생 주도의 지역 현안연구를 수행하고 NGO 및 교사 대상 교육 프로그램 개발, 지역 NGO를 활용한 홍보 프로그램 개발 등을 통해 지역 NGO가 해양교육 전문가로 성장할 수 있는 기틀도 만들 계획이다. 책임연구자인 이석모 교수는 “사업 과정에서 자립형 해양산업 클러스터를 구축하여 지역현안 해소와 전문인력 양성, 고용창출 등을 통해 영남권 해양수산 산업발전을 견인하는 마중물이 될 것.”이라고 말했다.<부경투데이> Young-nam Sea grant business group in Pukyong National University(Responsible researcher&Professor of the department of ecotechnology, Lee Suk Mo) is selected as 2014 Marine Fishing Technology Area Characterization Business which is supervised by Korea Institute of Ocean Science&Technology. Young-nam Sea grant business group was selected by this coming business contest which were divided into 6 areas (Kyong-gi, Kyong-buk, Young-nam, Jeju, Choong-chung, Ho-nam) to the base of researches and educations in Marine Fisheries Department and the project for the people in Young-nam area. This business group vitalizes the networks that act as a pivot through Marine Fisheries joint confronting problems in the Enterprise Institution in University and other related institutions. There are 11 institutions in all that are participating in this business group (Pusan National University, Ulsan University, Kyong-sang National University, Pusan Development Institution, Ulsan Development Institution, Kyong-nam Development Institution, Pukyong National University, 6 universities in Young-nam area, laboratories and corporations etc.) Also, Korea Institute of Marine Science & Technology Promotion is going to support 2 billion korean won until 2017. This business group is going to consist Field business and Division of the task researching business group to study Marine culture tour, continuance possible coasts, fishing villages and fishermen's welfare enhancement and to foster professional manpower in Marine Fishing field and provide great service to the public education with all the other promotion businesses. To do this, they are going to excavate the history of Marine life about fishing villages to develop sightseeing merchandise and the plan of Marina industry. Also they are pushing forward the area's climate change and the plan for red tide's reaction including ecology creation of space and marine bio-energy researches. To promote professional manpower in marine fishing part, the graduate students are going to lead and fulfill the area's pending issue and develop the programs that are targeting the NGO and teachers. This can make the foundation of the area's NGO to grow as expertises. "During this business process, self supporting marine industry cluster should be constructed to decrease the area's pending issue, promote the manpower professionally and also the development of the industry in marine fishing(Young-nam area) could be towed through creation of employment" said the professor Lee Suk Mo, the responsible researcher.<Pukyong Today> |
