부경대의 주관 사업단 수는 5개, 지원금은 46억 원이지만 부산대와 컨소시엄으로 참여한 사업단으로부터 최대 6억 원까지 지원받을 수 있어 실제 부경대가 받게 되는 사업지원액은 52억 원에 달한다. CK사업은 지역사회의 수요와 특성을 고려하여 강점 분야 중심의 대학 특성화 기반을 조성하기 위한 사업이다. 이를 위해 정부가 1조2천억 원을 대학에 투입한다. 교육부와 한국연구재단은 1일 올해 CK사업에 신청한 전국 160개 대학 989개 사업단 가운데 108개 대학 342개 사업단을 최종 선정 발표했다. 이 중에서 지방대학은 80개 대학 265개 사업단이 선정됐다. 부경대는 대학이 자율적으로 특성화사업을 집중 육성하는 ‘대학자율’ 유형에 2개 사업단, 인문사회자연예체능 계열 및 국제화분야를 별도로 지원하는 ‘국가지원’ 유형에 3개, 지역 연고사업과 연계한 ‘지역전략’ 유형에 1개 사업단(부산대와 컨소시엄)이 각각 선정됐다. ○부경대, 어떤 사업단이 뽑혔나? ‘대학자율’ 유형 중 대형 사업단으로 △스마트 해양수산 융합 미래인력 양성사업단(단장 이춘우)이 선정됐다. 여기에는 해양생산시스템관리학부, 해양바이오신소재학과, 식품공학과, 자원생물학과, 식품영양학과, 생물공학과, 수산생명의학과, 미생물학과, 해양공학과, 해양학과, 에너지자원공학과, 공간정보시스템공학과, 생태공학과, IT융합응용공학과, 해양스포츠학과 등 15개 학과가 참여한다. ‘대학자율’ 유형 중 소형 사업단으로 △ICT 융복합 기술혁신 창의인재 양성사업단(단장 이운식)이 선정됐다. 시스템경영공학부, 정보통신학과가 참여한다. ‘국가지원’ 유형에는 일어일문학부, 국제지역학부(중국학전공), 신문방송학과가 참여하는 △동아시아 환동해지역과 동남권역 연계 MICE 인재양성 사업단(단장 손동주), 화학과와 물리학과가 참여하는 △나노·바이오 과학창의 실무인재 양성사업단(단장 정중현), 국제지역학부(북미학전공·유럽학전공), 해양수산경영학과, 국제수산과학협동과정 등이 참여하는 △해양수산 국제개발협력 전문인력 양성사업단(단장 이상고)이 선정됐다. ‘지역전략’ 유형에는 부산대와 컨소시엄으로 신청한 △동남권 기계기반 융합부품소재 창의인재 양성사업단(단장 박원규)이 선정됐다. 여기에는 기계자동차공학과가 참여한다. ○부경대 대학특성화사업, 동남권 대학 중 ‘상위’ 동남권에서는 모두 18개 대학이 선정됐다. 사업단 수로는 동명대(7개), 부경대(6개), 경상대(6개), 창원대(6개)가 상위였다. 사업비 지원규모로는 경상대(54억), 부경대(52억), 부산대(52억), 동명대·동서대(49억) 등이 상위였다. 한편 동남권 대학의 CK사업 선정 현황(주관대학 기준)은 다음과 같다. △경남과학기술대: 3억 원(1개), △경남대학교: 20억 원(4개), △경상대학교: 54억 원(6개), △경성대학교: 19억 원(4개), △동명대학교: 49억 원(7개), △동서대학교: 49억 원(5개), △동아대학교: 17억5천7백만 원(4개), △동의대학교: 3억 원(1개), △부경대학교: 46억 원(5개), △부산대학교: 52억 원(4개), △부산외국어대학교: 39억9천9백만 원(5개), △신라대학교: 12억 원(2개), △영산대학교: 12억 원(2개), △울산대학교: 28억 원(3개), △인제대학교: 6억 원(2개), △진주교육대학교: 3억 원(1개), △창원대학교: 46억 원(6개), △한국해양대학교: 9억 원(1개).<부경투데이> 6 agencies of Pukyong National University(President Kim Young Seup) have been selected for university characterizing business(CK business : University for Creative Korea) newly being promoted this year. With this selection, PKNU is going to be given the five-year financial support by 5.2 billion won a year maximum. The number of agencies supervised by Pukyong National University is five, and the support fund is 4.6 billion won, but the actual amount PKNU will reach 5.2 billion won because the university can receive up to 600 million won maximum from another agency participating as a form of consortium with Busan National University. CK business is a business to build the foundation of university characterization focusing on strong fields considering demand and characters of the community. For this purpose, the government invests 1.2 trillion won into domestic universities. The Ministry of Education and Korea Research Foundation have selected and announced the final 342 agencies of 108 universities out of 989 agencies of 160 universities which applied for the CK business this year on 1st. The number of agencies of local universities reaches 265 of 80 universities among the final group. 2 agencies in the type of ‘autonomy of universities’ for each university to focus on building characterization business autonomously, 3 agencies in the type of ‘governmental support’ giving financial support to humanities, social, natural, art and physical education department and the internationalization field, 1 agency in the type of ‘regional strategy’ in collaboration with local businesses(consortium with Busan National University) were selected, respectively. ○Which agencies were selected in Pukyong National University? △Smart Oceans and Fisheries Convergence Future Human Resources Training Agency (leader Lee Chun Woo) was chosen as a large business agency of the type "autonomy of the university." 15 departments of PKNU - department of Marine Production System Management, department of Marine Bio New-Materials & Aquaculture, department of Food Science & Technology, department of Marine Biology, department of Food Science & Nutrition, department of Biotechnology, department of Aquatic Life Medicine, department of Marine Engineering, department of Energy Resources Engineering, department of Spatial Information System, department of Ecological Engineering, department of IT Convergence & Application Engineering, and department of Marine Sports – participate in the business. △ Creative Human Resources Training Agency for ICT Convergence & integration Technology Innovation(leader Lee Woon Sik) was chosen as a small business agency of the type "autonomy of the university." Department of System Management Engineering and department of Information Communication take part in the business. As the type of "regional strategy", Human Resource Development Agency of the fusion of parts and materials window machine base of △ Creative Human Resources Training Agency of Convergence of Component & Material Based on Machinery in the Southeast Area(leader Park Won Gyu), the consortium with Busan National University was selected. Department of Mechanical Automotive Engineering joins the project.
Total 18 Universities were selected in the southeast area. Tongmyoung University(7), Pukyong National University(6), Gyeongsang University(6), Changwon University(6) got high ranks in the number of selected agencies. The scale of the project cost support, (5.2 billion), Kyeongsang University(5.4 billion), Pukyong national University(5.2 billion), Busan National University (5.2billion), and Tongmyoung and Dongseo university(4.9 billion) were in top position in the scale of the supporting project cost.
