부경대 컴퓨터공학과 고정현(28‧석사2년), 류신(LIU CHEN‧28‧박사2년), 장대영(28‧2013년8월 졸업) 씨는 최근 미래창조과학부 주최, 한국데이터베이스진훙원 주관으로 열린 ‘2014 대한민국 DA설계공모대전’에서 일반부 최우수상을 수상했다. 상금은 200만원.
△ 오른쪽부터 홍정민, 고정현, 류신, 노동영. ⓒ이성재 사진(홍보팀) 이들은 ‘전 국민 통합 사회복지시스템 데이터베이스 설계’를 주제로 열린 일반부 대회에서 전국 여러 사회복지 부처에서 사용하고 있는 사회복지 데이터베이스를 업무변화에 유연하게 대응할 수 있는 하나의 시스템으로 통합하는 논리 데이터모델 설계도를 작성했다. 이들의 설계도는 대회에서 제시한 조건인 수요자 중심 복지서비스 데이터베이스 구조 통합, 복지서비스 수혜자와 제공자의 데이터베이스 구조 통합 등을 구현해 좋은 평가를 받았다. 이와 함께 부경대 컴퓨터공학과 홍정민(25‧4학년), IT융합응용공학과 노동영(24‧3학년) 씨는 이 대회 학생부에서 우수상을 받았다. 상금은 100만원. 학생부 주제는 ‘기업복지시설 운영 시스템 DB설계’. 이들은 기업복지시설의 이용대상 관리 및 이용예약, 정산 등 서비스를 통합적으로 이용할 수 있는 데이터모델 설계도를 성공적으로 작성했다. 한편 이번 수상자들은 모두 부경대 데이터베이스 전문동아리 ‘데이터피아’ 소속으로, 이 동아리는 2010년과 2011년 대상, 2012년 우수상, 2013년 대상을 수상하는 등 5년 연속 우수한 성과를 올리고 있다.<부경투데이> Students of Pukyong National University have exceled in DA (Data Architecture) design contests. Ko Jung Hyun (28, second grade of master’s degree), Liu Chen (28, second grade of Ph.D), and Jang Dae Young (28, graduation on Aug, 2013) in the department of Computer Engineering of Pukyong National University received the top prize in the general part of ‘2014 Korea DA Design Contest’ hosted by Ministry of Science, ICT, and Future Planning and supervised by Korea Database Agency. The prize money was 2 million won. DA (data architecture) is composed of models, policies, rules or standards that govern which data is collected, and how it is stored, arranged, integrated, and put to use in data systems and in organizations to perform tasks in each business part. In the contest whose theme was ‘design for integrated social welfare system data base for the whole nation, they made a logic data model blueprint integrating social welfare database used in various social welfare-related authorities across the country into a single system available for flexible task change. Their blueprint was highly evaluated by realizing the integration of demander-oriented welfare service database structure and the integration of database structure of welfare service beneficiaries and providers, which was one of the required conditions of the competition. In addition to above award, Hong Jeong Min (25, senior) of Computer Engineering department and No Dong Young (24, junior) of IT Convergence and Application Engineering department won the second prize in the student part of the contest. They received the prize money of 1 million won. The theme was ‘DB design of corporation welfare facilities operation system’ and they successfully drew their data model blueprint available for management of using targets, reservation for, and calculation of the use of corporation welfare facilities. All of these winners belong to ‘Datapia,’ a specialized database club of Pukyong National University, which has produced satisfactory achievements, having won the top prize in 2010, 2011, and 2013 and the second prize in 2012 for 5 years in a row. <Pukyong today> |
