부경대 대학생 전공 홍보단 ‘부경자이로(단장 우힘찬‧정보통신공학과 4학년)’는 7일 오전 양산 서창고등학교 학생 200여명을 대상으로 부경대 학과 탐방 및 체험행사를 개최했다. 부경대 글로벌자율전공학부 등 25개 전공에서 선발한 39명으로 구성된 부경자이로는 중‧고교생들이 대학의 전공 강의는 물론 실험, 실습을 간접 체험할 수 있도록 지원활동을 펼친다. 이들은 지난 4월 공모를 통해 선발된 이후 2개월간 전공 소개를 위한 교육 훈련과정을 거쳐 이날 처음 활동을 시작했다. 이들은 이날 행사에 참가한 서창고 학생들과 함께 부경대 8개 학과를 방문해 전공강의실과 실험실, 실습실 등을 소개하고, 전공 설명회 등 체험행사를 진행했다. 부경자이로는 이날 학과 탐방 및 체험행사를 시작으로 10일 김해 삼문고를 방문해 전공 설명회를 펼치는 것을 비롯, 오는 8월에는 부경대에서 진행되는 고교생 대상 전공교실(5일, 12일)과 전공박람회(18일~20일) 등 행사도 진행할 예정이다. 9월부터는 중학생들을 대상으로 대학 전공을 미리 체험해보는 자유학기제 프로그램도 운영할 계획이다. 우힘찬 학생은 “진로를 고민하는 중‧고등학생들에게 대학 전공들의 매력을 알려줄 수 있도록 열심히 노력하겠다.”고 말했다. <부경투데이> PKNU major promotion unit 'Pukyung Gyro' (Leader Woo Him-chan, 4th grade in Information and Communication Engineering Dept. ) held a visiting and experience event in PKNU with 200 students from Yangsan Seochang High School in the morning on the 7th. Pukyong Gyro, which is composed of 39 students selected from 25 majors including Global Free major subjects department in PKNU and supports students to experience experimental and practical experiences as well as university lectures. After they were selected through a contest in April, they started their activities for the first 2 months after they went through a training course to introduce their major. They visited 8 department of PKNU with students from Seochang high school and they participated in the event, introduced lecture rooms, laboratories, and held experiential events such as seminars. Pukyong Gyro will visit the Gimhae Sammun high shool on following 10th and will hold a briefing session and will hold high school students' classrooms (5th, 12th) and major fairs (18th~20th) will also be held. From September, PKNU plans to run a free semester program for middle school students to experience university major in advance.
