학과 성적에 상관없이 사회봉사를 비롯 헌혈, 도서관 이용, 국제화프로그램 참여 등 1년 동안 움직인 학생의 ‘족적’을 보고 장학금을 주는 ‘PKNU 스마트 인재 장학금’이 그것이다. 부경대는 오는 12월말 1년간의 학생경력 점수를 평가해 고득점자 230명에게 모두 1억2천1백만 원을 지급하는 장학사업계획을 17일 밝혔다. 1인당 최고 160만원을 받을 수 있다. 이 장학금은 ‘학생경력’ 점수를 많이 쌓은 사람에게 유리하다. 만일 학생회나 동아리 대표, 또는 홍보대사를 하면서 리더십을 기르는 데 노력한 학생이라면 1점을 받는다. 거기에 부지런히 사회봉사를 하면 최대 4점(8시간 이상 1점, 4회까지 인정), 산학협동교육프로그램과 해외복수학위프로그램에 참여해 견문을 넓히는 데 시간을 투자하면 각각 4점과 5점을 받는다. 또 자신의 전공을 파고들어 자격증을 따면 자격증에 따라 2~10점이 주어진다. 경진대회에서 수상하면 0.5~3점까지 쌓을 수 있다. 글로벌 필수역량인 외국어 성적으로는 최고 30점을 획득할 수 있다. 헌혈을 한 번 하면 0.5점인데 5회까지 인정돼 타인의 생명을 돕는 헌혈로만 2.5점을 받을 수 있다. 부경대는 최근 국책사업인 링크플러스사업 선정으로 산학협동교육 및 사회봉사 프로그램이 더 풍성해져 학생들의 참여가 더욱 활발해지고 있다. 학생들은 자신의 적성에 맞는 다양한 프로그램에 도전해 그 결과를 ‘학생경력시스템’이라 불리는 프로그램에 수시로 입력한다. 부경대 인재개발원 최현주 주무관은 “1년에 4,500여건에 달하는 성과들이 학생경력시스템에 올라오고 있을 정도로 학생들의 반응이 뜨겁다.”면서, “이 프로그램은 학생들에게 학창시절 꾸준히 자기계발을 장려하여 다양한 분야의 능력을 쌓게 함으로써 졸업 후 취업에도 큰 도움이 되고 있다.”고 밝혔다. <부경투데이> 'Your grade does not matter at all.' PKNU has recently become more active with the participation of industry-university cooperative education and community service programs because of the selection of the Link Plus business. Students challenge a variety of programs that fit their aptitudes and enter the results into a program called the 'Student Career System' from time to time.
