부산광역시 출연 연구원인 부산발전연구원은 1992년 설립된 지역 종합정책연구기관이다. 부산의 도시 현안을 분석·연구해 정책대안을 제시하고, 부산 시민의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 도시정책개발에 주력하고 있다. 부산광역시 부산진구 양정동에 있다. 부산시와 부산발전연구원은 17일 공석 중인 부산발전연구원 원장에 이정호 교수를 공모를 거쳐 선임했다고 밝혔다. 참여정부 때인 2003년 대통령 비서실 국가균형발전비서관, 2005~2006년 대통령 비서실 동북아시대비서관, 2006년 대통령 비서실 제도개선비서관, 2006~2007년 대통령 비서실 시민사회수석비서관 등을 각각 역임했다. 저서로는 ‘공공선택론적 관점에서 본 부산의 지역주의와 공천’, ‘선거를 통해서 본 부산지역주의의 변화와 특성’, ‘정치학방법론 교육의 현황과 과제’, ‘정치학으로의 산책’ 등이 있다. 정치외교학, 국제관계학이 전공인 이 신임 원장은 지난 1999년부터 부경대학교 정치외교학과 교수로 봉직해왔다. 지난 17일 취임한 이 신임 원장은 취임사에서 “부산이 4차 산업혁명 시대에 맞는 도시경영 시스템으로 체질을 개선해갈 수 있도록 하는 지적 플랫폼으로 자리매김하도록 노력하겠다.”고 밝혔다. <부경투데이> BDI, a research institute in Busan Metropolitan City, is a regional comprehensive policy research institute established in 1992. They analyze urban issues in Busan to present policy alternatives and focus on city policy development to improve the life quality of Busan citizens. It is located in Yangjeong-dong, Busanjin-gu, Busan. Busan Metropolitan city and Busan Development Institute announced on September 17 that they have selected Professor Lee Jeong-ho as the head of the Busan Development Institute. The newly appointed director Lee has received a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Illinois in USA after graduating from the department of political science and diplomacy at Yonsei University and Pusan national university high school. In 2003, he served as Secretary of State Balanced Development in the Presidential Secretariat of the Participatory Government, Secretary of the Presidential Secretariat in Northeast Asia in 2005 ~ 2006, Assistant Secretary for the Improvement of the Presidential Secretariat System in 2006 and Senior Secretary of the Civil Society in the Presidential Secretariat in 2006 ~ 2007. He wrote books as ’Regionalism and nomination in Busan from a viewpoint of public choice,’ ’Changes and characteristics of Busan regionalism through elections,’ ’The present situation and task of education of political methodology’, and ’Strolling into politics.’ This new director, who majored in political science and diplomacy and international relations, has worked as a professor in political science and foreign affairs at Pukyong National University since 1999. In his inaugural address, Mr.Lee said, "We will make efforts to make position of Busan as an intellectual platform to improve the type with the city management system for the 4th Industrial Revolution era." <Pukyong Today> |
