부경대학교의 ‘천원의 아침밥’ 사업이 농림축산식품부 장관상을 받았다. 부경대는 최근 농림축산식품부의 2018년 천원의 아침밥 캠페인 사업 성과평가에서 전국 21개 대학 가운데 가장 우수한 사업성과를 인정받아 농림축산식품부 장관상인 대상을 수상했다. 부경대가 양질의 아침식사를 저렴하게 제공하기 위해 운영한 ’천원의 아침밥’은 올해에만 4만 명이 넘게 이용하는 등 학생들의 큰 호응을 얻고 있다. 부경대는 지난해에 이어 올해도 농림축산식품부의 아침밥 캠페인 사업 공모에 참여, 학생식당의 아침식사를 천원에 제공하는 ‘천원의 아침밥’을 운영해 왔다. 이 사업으로 부경대생들은 오전 8시 30분부터 10시 30분까지 3개 학생식당에서 정식은 물론 국밥, 찌개, 오므라이스, 카레밥, 김밥, 죽 등 다양한 메뉴를 천원에 이용해 왔다. 기존 식사가격(1500원~4000원) 중 학생이 천원을 부담하면 나머지는 농림축산식품부의 사업 지원금과 대학의 발전기금에서 지원하는 방식이다. 부경대는 이번 사업 성과평가에서 학생식당의 적극적인 협조를 통해 예산을 효율적으로 활용, 맛과 영양을 고려한 식단으로 ‘천원의 아침밥’을 운영한 점을 높이 평가받았다. 부경대가 이용 학생을 대상으로 한 만족도 조사에서도 다양한 메뉴와 음식의 맛, 양 등에 대한 만족도가 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 부경대 학생복지과 신현일 과장은 “학생들이 아침밥을 먹고 건강을 챙기는 데 이 사업이 조금이나마 도움이 되는 것 같아 기쁘다.”면서, “이용 학생들과 소통을 확대해 새로운 식단을 개발하는 등 앞으로도 건강한 아침식사를 제공하기 위해 힘쓰겠다.”고 말했다. <부경투데이> Pukyong National University's '1,000won breakfast' project received the Minister prize by Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. PKNU won the grand prize of the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs for recognition of the best business achievement among the 21 universities nationwide in the 1,000won rice breakfast campaign performance evaluation. PKNU's '1000won breakfast', which was operated to provide a good quality breakfast at a reasonable price, is receiving great response from students, including more than 40,000 people using it this year. The university has been running the ‘1,000 won breakfast’ , and participated in the lunch campaign contest of the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and provided breakfast for 1,000 students at the cafeteria from last year. In this project, PKNU students have used various menus such as cooked rice, stew, omelet, curry rice, kimbap, and porridge for 1,000 won at 3 student cafeterias from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. If the student pays 1000 won for the existing meal price (1500 won ~ 4000 won), the rest is supported by the business support fund of the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the development fund of the Pukyong National University. PKNU was highly evaluated for its ability to efficiently utilize its budget through the active cooperation of student cafeteria in the evaluation of the performance of this project, and to operate '1,000 won breakfast ' in the diet considering taste and nutrition. In the satisfaction survey of Pukyong National University students, satisfaction with various menus and food tastes and quantity was very high. Shin Hyeon-il, the general manager of PKNU student welfare department said, "I am glad that this project helps a little bit in helping students to get breakfast and health."
