부경대학교는 지난 11일 오후 국회중앙도서관 지하1층 대강당에서 김해영 국회의원, 윤여각 국가평생교육진흥원장, 김영섭 부경대 총장 등 250여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘선 취업 후 학습 활성화를 위한 대학의 평생교육체제 지원사업(LiFE) 정책포럼’을 개최했다. 국회 교육위원회 김해영 국회의원 주최, 대학의 평생교육체제 지원사업 전국대학교협의회(회장교 부경대) 주관, 교육부, 국가평생진흥원 후원으로 열린 이 행사는 대학의 평생교육체제 지원사업의 활성화를 위한 평생학습의 비전을 공유하고, 발전방안을 분석하기 위한 것이다. 이날 포럼은 정부와 학계, 현장, 협력기관 간 종합 토론의 장을 마련해 정책방향 도출을 위해 대학의 평생학습 사회 구현의 필요성에 대한 기조강연을 비롯, 대학의 평생교육체제 전환의 의미 및 발전 방안에 대한 주제 발표, 학계와 유관기관, 정부 등의 종합토론으로 진행됐다. 기조강연은 교육부 대학구조개혁위원장인 부경대 류장수 교수(경제학부)가 ‘성인학습자를 위한 대학 평생학습 사회 구현의 가치’를 주제로 펼쳤다. 류 교수는 이 강연에서 과학기술혁명, 고령사회 도래, 노동시간 단축 등으로 평생학습은 앞으로 더욱 확산되고 견고화될 것이고 대학의 역할도 더욱 중요할 것이라고 강조했다. 주제발표는 박동열 한국직업능력개발원 평생직업교육연구본부 선임연구위원이 ‘성인학습자 중심의 대학 체제 개편 및 후학습 생태계 조성 방안’을 주제로 펼쳤다. 이어 열린 종합토론에서는 주동범 부경대 미래융합대학장을 좌장으로 평생교육 지역정책, 대학 현장, 산업 현장 등 분야에 대한 발제와 토론이 진행됐다. 종합토론은 ‘지역사회에 필요한 LiFE 사업의 역할과 발전 방향(박영미 부산인재평생교육진흥원장)’을 비롯, ‘현장에서 바라본 LiFE 사업의 과제와 도약을 위한 제안(명지전문대 권두승 기획실장 등)’, ‘성인학습자의 계속지원을 위한 기업의 현안 과제(유선희 포스코 인재창조원 센터장)’, ‘LiFE 사업의 활성화를 위한 정부의 정책 방향(정윤경 교육부 평생학습정책과장)’ 등 주제로 진행되고 질의응답이 이어졌다. <부경투데이> Pukyong National University held the 'LiFE Policy Forum for University Lifelong Education System for Revitalization after Pre-Employment' attended by 250 people, including Kim Hae-Young, a member of the National Assembly, the President Yoon Yeo-gak of National Institute for Lifelong Education, Kim Young-seup, the President of Pukyong National University, at the B1F auditorium on the 11th floor of the National Assembly Library. Professor Ryu emphasized that lifelong learning will become more proliferated and solidified in the future due to the scientific and technological revolution, the arrival of aging society, and shorter working hours, and the role of the university will be more important. The presentation of the theme was conducted by Park Dong-yeol, Senior Research Fellow, Lifelong Vocational Education Research Division, Korea Vocational Competency Development Center. Subsequently, in the general debate, Chairman Joo Dong-beom, Pukyong National University, head of the University of Future Convergence gave a presentation and discussion on areas of lifelong education, regional policy, university and industrial field. The comprehensive discussions included the role and development direction of the LiFE project for the community (Park Young-mi, Director, Busan Institute for Talent & Lifelong Education), as well as proposals for the project and leap of the LiFE project viewed from the field (Kwon Doo-seung, Head of Planning Division, Myongji College) , 'Problem of Corporate Issues for Continued Support of Adult Learners (Yoo Sun-hee, Director of POSCO Group University),' and 'Government Policy Direction for Revitalizing LiFE Project' (Director of Lifelong Education Policy Division, Jung Yoon-kyung, Ministry of Education. <Pukyong Today> |
