아주경제신문은 16일 <아주 초대석> 코너에 부경대학교 소개 기사를 실었다. 이 신문의 20면 전체가 할애된 기사는 크게 두 가지. 김영섭 총장 인터뷰 내용이 담긴 메인 기사의 제목은 “300개 기업 둥지튼 ‘드래곤밸리’…유니콘 캠퍼스 키운다”였다. 김 총장은 인터뷰에서 “대학은 관념적인 울타리를 걷어내고 지자체, 지역 기업, 공공기관과 함께 지역 사회에 도움이 되는 플랫폼 기능을 해야 한다.”면서 지역사회와 지역산업의 혁신을 위한 대학의 역할을 강조했다. 기사는 “2016년 총장 재임으로 7년째 부경대를 이끄는 김영섭 부경대 총장은 학령인구 감소 시대를 맞은 지역 대학의 활로는 새로운 형태의 ‘산학협력’이라고 단언했다.”면서, “지역경제를 바꾸는 힘이 사람에게서 나오고, 사람을 바꾸는 건 교육이기에 고등교육을 혁신해 미래 산업을 선도한다는 구상이다.”이라고 전했다. 기사는 이를 실현하기 위해 추진 중인 사업으로 ▷지역 중심 국립대학 산학협력 벨트(K7-Belt) 구축, ▷용당캠퍼스에 구축 중인 드래곤밸리, ▷국내 최초 스마트양식 클러스터 조성 ▷유엔 직영 ‘FAO 세계수산대학원’ 설립 추진 등을 소개했다. 아주경제신문은 김 총장 인터뷰에 이어 최근 부경대의 변화를 담은 작은 박스 기사를 실었다. 제목은 ‘스타업 100사업 학생들 부담없는 창업 지원’이었다. 기사는 “부경대는 대학 3주체인 교수, 직원, 학생 중에서도 특히 학생에 집중하고 있다.”면서 내년 2월부터 운영되는 ‘스타트업 100 사업’을 비중 있게 소개했다. 이어 기사는 “대연캠퍼스에서는 학생을 위한 숨은 공간 찾아내기가 한창.”이라면서, ▷도서관 전면 리모델링, ▷동원장보고관 1층 분수대의 변모, ▷자연과학대 파라다이스 공간 리모델링 등을 소개했다. ▷ 기사 전문 읽기 “클릭!!” Aju Business Daily published an article about Pukyong National University on the corner of <Aju reserved seat> on the 16th. There are two major articles devoted to the entire page 20 of this newspaper. The title of the main article, which contains the interview with President Kim Young-seup, is titled "'Dragon Valley', where 300 companies nest, builds Unicorn Campus" In his interview, president Kim said, “Universities should work together to remove ideological barriers and serve as a platform to serve the community with local governments, local businesses and public institutions.”, and he emphasized the university's role in innovation in the community and local industry. The article introduced, in order to realize this, they are ▷ building a regional university-university cooperation belt (K7-Belt), ▷ a dragon valley under construction at Yongdang Campus, ▷ the first smart culture cluster in Korea, ▷ and the establishment of the 'FAO Graduate School of Global Fisheries'. The Aju Business Daily recently published a small boxed article about the change of the Pukyong National University following Kim's interview. The title was 'Supplementary Startup Support for 100 Startup Students'. The article said, “Pukyong National University focuses on students, especially among professors, employees, and students, which are the three main bodies of the university,” and highlighting the 'Startup 100 project', which will be in operation from February next year. Following the article, “Daeyeon Campus is finding hidden spaces for students.” ▷ Remodeling the entire library, ▷ Changing the fountain on the first floor of the Dongwon Jangbogo building, and ▷ Remodeling the paradise space of the Natural Science University. |
