서영옥 동문, KBS <사장님이 미(美)쳤어요> 출연 ‘눈길’

- ‘부드러운 카리스마 사장님’으로 주목 … 1월 9일 KBS 1TV 방송

국립부경대학교(총장 장영수)의 ‘자랑스러운 동문’ 서영옥 ㈜화인테크놀리지 대표가 KBS 방송 프로그램 <사장님이 미(美)쳤어요 The New Beginning>에 출연했다.

이 프로그램은 인간 중심의 경영철학을 가지고, 인재 육성 투자에 적극 실천하는 중소기업인과 우수 중소기업을 소개하고, 청년들에게 다양한 취업 정보를 전달하기 위해 만들어진 프로그램이다.

서 동문은 지난 1월 9일 KBS 1TV에 방영된 이 프로그램의 4회차 방송에 부드러운 카리스마로 30여 년간 회사를 이끌어온 여성 기업인으로 출연해 집중 조명을 받았다.

서 동문은 공산품의 표면 보호용 테이프와 반도체 및 전기·전자 부품 가공용 특수 테이프를 자체 개발해 해외에서도 그 기술력을 인정받은 ㈜화인테크놀리지를 이끌고 있으며, 직원 간 신뢰를 중심으로 나눔 경영을 실천하며 중소벤처기업부의 ‘2021년 존경받는 기업인’에 선정된 유일무이한 여성 기업인이다.

이 방송은 집으로 찾아온 제작진에게 손수 아침을 차려 대접하는 친근하고 수더분한 이미지와 함께 회사에서 직원들을 이끄는 카리스마를 겸비한 사장으로 서 동문을 소개했다.

서 동문은 스튜디오에서 진행된 CEO 미니특강 코너를 통해 엔지니어로서 회사의 미래를 개척해온 이야기와 함께, 직원들이 미래를 그려갈 수 있는 느리지만 오래가는 기업을 만들고 싶다는 포부를 밝히기도 했다.

부경대 화학공학과 75학번인 서 동문은 지난 2015년 제10대 총동창회장을 역임한 데 이어, 현재 부경대학교총동창회장학재단 이사장을 맡고 있다.

이와 함께 사회에서 활약하며 모교 명예를 빛내 2019년 제16회 자랑스러운 부경인상을 받은 ‘자랑스러운 동문’이자, 모교 발전을 위해 거액의 발전기금을 쾌척해온 ‘기부천사’이기도 하다. <부경투데이>

PKNU Alumna, Seo Young-Ok framed in a spotlight for appearing in KBS <My boss went crazy>

Seo Young-Ok, CEO of Fine Technology and also a 'proud alumna' of Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo), appeared on the currently airing program 'My boss went crazy, Episode: The New Beginning.'

This program was made with the good intent to introduce excellent small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that have a human-centered management philosophy while actively investing in nurturing talent and delivering various employment information to the youth.

She received the spotlight by appearing in the 4th episode of this program, which was aired on channel KBS 1TV on January 9, as a female entrepreneur who has led her company for over 30 years with a soft charisma.

Ms. Seo is leading Fine Technology, which has been recognized for its technology overseas as well, by the fact that she independently developed tapes for surface protection of industrial products and special tapes for processing semiconductors and electrical and electronic components. In addition, she practices sharing management centered on trust between her employees and is the only female entrepreneur selected as the 'Respectful Entrepreneur in 2021' by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

The program introduced the two charms of Seo Young-Ok as a charismatic boss who leads her employees in the company, along with her friendly image of preparing breakfast with her own hands and treating production staff with delicacies.

Through the CEO mini special lecture corner, she shared her story of pioneering the future of the company as an engineer and her ambition to make a slow but long-lasting company where employees can build the future.

Ms. Seo enrolled in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Pukyong National University in 1975. She was then elected as the first female alumna president of the University in 2015 and served as the 10th President of the Pukyong National University Alumni Association.

At the same time, she is a 'proud alumna' who has been active in society and received the 16th Proud Pukyong People Award in 2019. She is also a 'donation angel' who has graciously donated a large amount of money for the development of Pukyong National University. <Pukyong Today>
