부경대, 2022 부산지역 특허전략 경진대회 석권

- 대상·최우수상·우수상 휩쓸어

국립부경대학교(총장 장영수) 학생들이 특허청, 부산광역시, 한국발명진흥회 주최, 부산지식재산센터, 부경대 주관으로 최근 부경대 동원장보고관에서 열린 ‘2022 부산지역 특허전략 경진대회’에서 대상과 최우수상, 우수상을 휩쓸었다.

부경대 공업화학전공 2학년 김해리, 신유진, 이주연 팀이 이번 대회에서 가장 우수한 특허전략 아이디어를 인정받아 한국발명진흥회장상인 대상을 수상했다. 상금은 100만 원.

이들은 장미고무공업사가 출제한 뚫림 저항성을 갖는 산업용 안전장갑에 대해 시장동향 검토 및 관련 특허동향을 조사하고, 핵심 특허를 선정해 해당 기업에 적절한 특허전략을 제시해 좋은 평가를 받았다.

이와 함께 이번 대회에서 부경대 화학과 4학년 허재성, 박지영, 문지현 팀이 부산지방중소벤처기업청장상인 최우수상과 상금 75만 원을 받았고, 화학과 4학년 최지원, 나노융합공학과 2학년 안동윤 팀과 스마트그린기술융합공학과 2학년 안현우, 식품영양학전공 3학년 한나라, 신예설 팀이 우수상과 상금 50만 원을 받았다.

올해 5회째를 맞은 부산지역 특허전략 경진대회는 기업이 문제를 제시하고, 지역 대학의 대학(원)생들이 창의적인 특허전략을 제시해 겨루는 대회다.

올해 대회에는 부경대 등 부산지역 대학에서 총 41개 팀 103명이 참가해 부산시의 7대 전략산업을 대상으로 ㈜장미고무공업사, ㈜코노텍, ㈜더쿡코리아 등 15개의 부산지역 기업들이 낸 문제로 특허전략 아이디어를 겨뤘다.

한편 부경대는 IP지역인재양성사업 운영대학으로 선정된 이후 취업연계IP지역인재양성사업단(단장 양지영·식품공학전공 교수) 프로그램의 하나로 이번 대회에 참가해 우수한 성과를 올렸다. <부경투데이>

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) students swept the grand prize, best prize and excellence prize at the '2022 Busan patent strategy contest' held at the Dongwon Jang Bogo Hall of Pukyong National University recently hosted by the Korean intellectual property office, Busan metropolitan city, and Korea invention promotion association and organized by the Regional Intellectual property center and Pukyong National University.

Pukyong National University's sophomores in Industrial chemistry, Kim Hae-Ri, Shin Yu-Jin, and Lee Joo-Yeon, were recognized as the best patent strategy ideas in this competition and were awarded the grand prize from the president of the Korea invention promotion association. The prize money is 1 million won.

They reviewed market trends and related patent trends for industrial safety gloves with puncture resistance that Jangmi gloves presented, and selected key patents and presented an appropriate patent strategy for the company and received good reviews.

At the same time, the team of 4th graders, Heo Jae-Seong, Park Ji-Young, and Moon Ji-Hyeon of the department of chemistry at Pukyong National University received the best award and prize money of 750,000 won from small and medium-sized venture companies in this competition. Choi Ji-Won, a 4th year student in the department of chemistry, Ahn Dong-Yoon, a sophomore in the Nanotechnology engineering, Ahn Hyeon-Woo, a sophomore in the department of smart green-tech convergence engineering, Han Nara, a 3rd year student in the food and nutrition, and Shin Ye-Seol received the excellence award and a prize of 500,000 won.

The Busan patent strategy contest, which marks its 5th anniversary this year, is a competition in which companies present problems and students (graduate) from local universities present creative patent strategies.

In this year's competition, a total of 103 students from 41 teams from universities in Busan, including Pukyong National University, participated the contest and competed for their ideas on problems posed by 15 Busan local companies, including Jangmi gloves, Conotek, and the Cook Korea, for 7 strategic industries in Busan.

After Pukyong National University was selected as the operating university for the IP regional talent nurturing program, it participated in this competition as part of the program of the job-linked IP regional talent nurturing group (leader Yang Ji-Young, professor in Food and nutrition) and achieved excellent results. <Pukyong today>
