국립부경대·경상국립대·울산과학기술원(UNIST), 창업 활성화 업무 협약 체결 및 세미나 개최
- 7일 동남권 창업거점대학 창업 협력 네트워크 구축 추진

부산·울산·경남 지역의 창업 분야를 대표하는 대학들이 지역의 창업 교육을 강화하기 위해 손잡았다.
국립부경대학교와 경상국립대학교, 울산과학기술원(UNIST)은 8월 7일 오후 부산 라발스 호텔에서 창업지원단 등 관련 부서 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 ‘동남권 창업거점대학 협력 네트워크 세미나’를 공동 개최했다.
이번 세미나는 국립부경대 산학협력단(단장 진영읍)과 경상국립대 산학협력단(단장 최병근), UNIST 산학협력단(단장 김영식)이 창업 교육과 지원 역량을 결집해 동남권 지역을 기반으로 한 효율적인 대학 창업 교육 생태계를 조성하고, 본격적인 창업 교육 추진에 협력하기 위해 공동으로 개최했다.
이를 위해 세 대학은 이날 창업 활성화 및 기업가정신 교육의 다양화, 대학 간 자원 공유 및 협력 체계 강화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다. 각 대학은 이 협약을 통해 △창업 인프라 공동 활용 △비교과 프로그램 운영 협력 △창업 교육 콘텐츠 공유 등 협력을 확대하며 지역 기반 창업 교육 생태계를 함께 조성할 계획이다.
국립부경대와 경상국립대는 이미 ‘실험실 특화형 창업선도대학(SPRINT) 사업’, ‘창업 교육 혁신 선도대학(SCOUT) 사업’ 컨소시엄에 함께 참여하고 있으며, 이번 협약으로 UNIST와 협력을 확대하며 동남권을 대표하는 창업 교육 선도대학 위상을 강화한다는 방침이다.
국립부경대 산학협력단 진영읍 단장은 “이번 세미나를 통해 논의된 창업 분야 협력과제를 바탕으로 지역과 대학의 창업 연계를 강화하고, 창업 교육에서 지역창업까지 이어지는 명실상부한 동남권 대학 창업의 허브로 발돋움할 것으로 기대한다.”라고 밝혔다. <부경투데이>

Pukyong National University, Gyeongsang National University, and UNIST Sign MOU and Host Seminar to Promote Startup Ecosystem
- On August 7, the universities promoted the establishment of a startup cooperation network in the southeastern region
Leading universities in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions have joined forces to strengthen local startup education.
Pukyong National University, Gyeongsang National University, and Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) jointly held the “Southeast Startup Hub University Cooperation Network Seminar” on August 7 at Lavalse Hotel in Busan, with officials from startup support departments in attendance.
This seminar was jointly organized by the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundations of Pukyong National University (Director Jin Young-eup), Gyeongsang National University (Director Choi Byung-geun), and UNIST (Director Kim Young-sik) to pool their capabilities in startup education and support, establish an efficient university startup education ecosystem based in the southeastern region, and cooperate in the full-scale implementation of entrepreneurship education.
To this end, the three universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the same day to promote entrepreneurship, diversify entrepreneurship education, and strengthen inter-university resource sharing and cooperation systems. Through this agreement, the universities plan to work together to build a regional startup education ecosystem by expanding cooperation in areas such as △joint use of startup infrastructure, △collaborative operation of extracurricular programs, and △sharing of entrepreneurship education content.
Pukyong National University and Gyeongsang National University are already jointly participating in the “SPRINT (Specialized Program for Startup from Research-based Innovation and Technology)” project and the “SCOUT (Startup Curriculum for Outstanding University Talents)” consortium. With this new agreement, they plan to expand their collaboration with UNIST and strengthen their position as leading universities in startup education in the southeastern region of Korea.
