국립부경대, “미래 대학원생 잡아라” 연구실험실 문 ‘활짝’
- ‘2025 Open Lab Day 및 PAC’ 개최 … 연구실 탐방·전시·특강 등

국립부경대학교(총장 배상훈)는 10월 29일, 30일 양일간 부경컨벤션홀에서 ‘2025 Open Lab Day 및 Pukyong Academic Conference(PAC)’ 행사를 개최했다.
국립부경대는 대학원 진학을 희망하는 학생들에게 연구실과 실험실 체험 기회를 제공하고, 대학원의 우수 연구 성과와 대학원 네트워크를 확산하기 위해 이 행사를 열었다.
29일 오전에는 대학원 생활과 연구, 진로 등에 대해 이야기하는 ‘패널토크’가 열렸다. 이 프로그램에는 <네이처> 논문 게재 교수를 비롯해, 대기업과 정부 기관 등의 연구소에서 활약 중인 졸업생들이 패널로 나서 청중들과 생생한 경험담을 나눴다.
이어 오후에는 연구실 탐방과 네트워킹 행사가 진행됐다. 인솔자로 나선 대학원생들이 탐방 참가자들을 각 연구실험실로 안내했다. 총 50여 곳의 연구실 및 실험실이 문을 연 가운데, 2,000여 명의 참가자들이 연구 장비 소개와 실험 시연, 프로젝트 소개에 이어 책임 교수와 진로 상담 등을 진행했다.
30일에는 부경컨벤션홀에 설치된 부스에서 일반대학원 진학과 학석사연계과정, 4단계 BK21 대학원혁신사업, 각종 지원 프로그램을 안내했다. 국립부경대는 대학원생들의 장학금 및 국제 공동연구 등에 30만 원에서 최대 700만 원까지 지원하는 20여 개의 지원 프로그램들을 이날 소개했다.
이어 같은 장소에서 산학연 프로젝트 성과 발표회, 이소영 마이크로소프트 이사의 초청 특강, 대학원생 우수 연구 발표 및 시상식 등이 열렸다.
배상훈 총장은 “연구중심대학으로서 인공지능, 디지털 등 첨단 분야 산업 발전을 선도하기 위해서는 대학원생 여러분의 역량이 매우 중요하다. 앞으로도 여러분의 연구 활동을 전폭적으로 지원하며 용기와 혁신, 도전으로 미래를 여는 강한 대학으로 나아가겠다.”라고 밝혔다. <부경투데이>

Pukyong National University Throws Open Its Lab Doors to Future Graduate Students
？ 2025 Open Lab Day and PAC event held, featuring lab tours, exhibitions, and special lectures
Pukyong National University (President Bae Sang-hoon) held the “2025 Open Lab Day and Pukyong Academic Conference (PAC)” on October 29 and 30 at the Pukyong Convention Hall.
This event was organized to offer hands-on experiences in research labs and experimental facilities for students interested in pursuing graduate studies, while also showcasing outstanding research achievements and strengthening the university’s graduate school network.
On the morning of the 29th, a ‘panel talk’ was held, featuring discussions on graduate school life, research, and career paths. Professors who had published in <Nature>, along with alumni now working at major corporations and government research institutes, joined as panelists to share their vivid, real-world experiences with the audience.
In the afternoon, lab tours and networking sessions followed. Graduate students served as guides, leading participants through various laboratories. A total of over 50 research and experimental labs opened their doors, welcoming approximately 2,000 participants. Visitors were introduced to research equipment, observed experiment demonstrations, learned about ongoing projects, and received career counseling from faculty advisors.
On the 30th, booths were set up at the Pukyong Convention Hall to provide information on general graduate school admissions, integrated bachelor’s-master’s programs, the BK21 Phase Four Graduate Innovation Program, and other support initiatives. The university introduced more than 20 support programs during the event, offering scholarships and international research funding ranging from 300,000 KRW to 7 million KRW.
Following that, at the same venue, presentations of industry-academia-research collaboration project outcomes, a special lecture by Lee So-young, Director at Microsoft Korea, and an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding graduate research were held.
President Bae Sang-hoon stated, “As a research-oriented university, the capabilities of our graduate students are crucial in leading the advancement of high-tech industries such as AI and digital technologies. We will continue to fully support your research endeavors and strive to become a strong university that opens the future through courage, innovation, and challenge.” <Pukyong Today>
