청년 4천 명 밀집 부산 남구, 청년 창업허브로 도약한다
- 11일 ‘B-Star 성과공유회 및 N-URP 추진계획 발표회’ 열려

국립부경대학교와 경성대학교, 동명대학교, 부산 남구청은 2월 11일 오후 롯데호텔 부산 펄룸에서 대학, 지자체, 공공기관, 기업 관계자, 학생 등 80여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘B-Star 성과공유회 및 N-URP 추진계획 발표회’를 개최했다.
이 행사는 부산형 라이즈(RISE) 사업으로 추진된 부산 개방형 창업공유대학(B-Star)의 성과를 점검하고, 올해 신규 사업 확장 전략을 대외적으로 공유하기 위해 열렸다.
3개 대학과 부산 남구청은 청년 4천 명이 밀집한 부산 남구 지역을 청년 창업허브로 조성하기 위해 지난해부터 창업교육과 인프라 연계, 창업 지원 등에 협력하는 창업공유대학을 운영해 왔다.
이 기관들이 지난해 공동으로 운영한 창업교과목을 이수한 청년은 1천 명이 넘었고, 비교과 프로그램도 350여 명이 수료했다. 우수 학생을 선발해 국내 및 해외 캠프도 진행했다. 창업동아리 활동과 공유 오피스, 공용장비 등 창업 활동을 체계적으로 지원하며 지역에 기반한 대표적인 창업생태계 혁신 모델로 주목받았다.
특히 이 사업의 우수사례로 소개된 ‘딸깍앱’ 개발팀은 대표 성공 창업모델로 주목받았다. 국립부경대 창업동아리로 시작한 이 팀은 사용자가 온라인에서 원하는 콘텐츠 링크를 한곳에 모아 저장하고 관리할 수 있는 딸깍앱을 지난해 출시했다. 딸깍앱은 최근까지 3만 4천여 명의 가입자를 유치하며 인기를 끌고 있다. 올해는 수익 모델 구축과 글로벌 시장 진출도 준비 중이다.
3개 대학과 남구청은 B-Star 사업을 올해에는 ‘N-URP(Namgu-University Research Park)’ 사업으로 발전시킨다는 계획이다. 대학과 지자체 협력을 넘어 지역 연구기관, 산업계와 협력을 확대해 지역 현안 해결과 지역산업 경쟁력 강화에 힘쓰면서 청년 인재의 지역 정착을 유도하고, 대학·기업·지역이 함께 성장하는 지속 가능한 창업 생태계를 조성한다는 목표다. <부경투데이>

Pukyong National University, Kyungsung University, Tongmyong University, and the Nam-gu District Office of Busan held the “B-Star Performance-Sharing Conference and N-URP Implementation Plan Briefing” on the afternoon of February 11 at the Pearl Room of Lotte Hotel Busan, with approximately 80 participants in attendance, including representatives from universities, local governments, public institutions, companies, and students.
The event was organized to review the achievements of the Busan Open Entrepreneurship-Sharing University (B-Star) initiative, which has been implemented under the Busan-style RISE program, and to publicly share strategies for expanding new projects this year.
The three universities and the Nam-gu District Office of Busan have been operating an Entrepreneurship-Sharing University initiative since last year in cooperation on entrepreneurship education, infrastructure linkage, and startup support, with the goal of developing the Nam-gu area―home to approximately 4,000 young people―into a youth startup hub.
More than 1,000 young participants completed the jointly operated entrepreneurship courses last year, and approximately 350 completed non-curricular programs. Outstanding students were selected to take part in domestic and overseas camps. Through systematic support for startup activities―including startup clubs, shared offices, and shared equipment―the initiative has drawn attention as a representative, region-based model for innovation in the startup ecosystem.
In particular, the “Ddalggak App” development team, introduced as a best practice of the initiative, drew attention as a flagship success model in student entrepreneurship. The team, which began as a startup club at Pukyong National University, launched the Ddalggak App last year―a service that allows users to collect, save, and manage links to desired online content in one place. The app has since gained popularity, attracting approximately 34,000 users to date. This year, the team is preparing to establish revenue models and expand into global markets.
The three universities and the Nam-gu District Office plan to further develop the B-Star initiative this year into the N-URP (Namgu？University Research Park) Program. Going beyond university？local government collaboration, they aim to expand cooperation with regional research institutes and industry, work to address local challenges and strengthen regional industrial competitiveness, encourage young talent to settle in the region, and build a sustainable startup ecosystem in which universities, companies, and the local community grow together.
