Pukyong National University has been selected as an education empowerment business six years in a row

Pukyong National University (President Young-Seup Kim) was selected as an Education Empowerment Project by the Ministry of Education. It has been chosen six years in a row since the project started in 2008.
The Ministry of Education announced that Pukyong National University has been selected for the first phase of the 2013 Education Empowerment Project on July 10th in the aspect of quantitative assessment.
The index includes the employment rate, student reinforcement rate, management of academic affairs and curriculum, scholarship rate, education investment, and index of tuition fee.
The Ministry of Education will announce their final support plan for 18 universities at the end of July after checking the quantitative and qualitative assessment results.
As soon as it finishes the evaluation of the 18 universities, the supporting sum for each university will finally be decided.
Pukyong National University is maintaining its reputation by producing a good outcome annually: it was chosen for the 2012 Education Empowerment Project with the highest support sum, 4.2 billion and 20 million won, among 97 universities. It was also selected as one of the most outstanding universities in 2011 with an excellent evaluation result.
