PKNU supports 2 billion won for initial founders.
Selected as the organizer of the initial start-up package project in 2019 under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS).

△The Pukyong National University's Employment and Business Development Support Center conducted a business start-up support program last year.

Pukyong National University was selected as the organizer of the startup package business of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) in 2019.

Employment and Business Development Support Center of Pukyong National University (Leader Kwon Soon-mok) has been confirmed as the organizer of this project by recognizing the achievements of the business start-up college upbringing project that has been carried out since 2015 in the performance evaluation of the leading institutional training program sponsored by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS).

The initial entrepreneurial package business is a business to support the entrepreneurial commercialization project managed by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) and Korea Institute of Startup & Enterpreneurship Development (KISED). It integrates the existing entrepreneurial leading university, smart venture campus, and generation convergence start-up campus business into one.

Pukyong National University has been planning and running over 20 programs, including entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial items commercialization, aimed at students and general public through business fostering programs, and has supported 2500 pre-founders each year. In 2017, the start-up companies participating in the commercialization program of Pukyong National University achieved an average of 100 million won in sales.
 
Employment and Business Development Support Center of Pukyong National University will invest about 2 billion won in funding for founder's commercialization and start-up programs through early start-up package business. It plans to support preliminary founders as well as early start-up companies (within three years of start-up), and to encourage student and teacher start-ups.

The center Leader Kwon Soon-mok said, "We will actively seek out and support excellent entrepreneurs such as early entrepreneurs who have promising start-up items and advanced technologies, as well as student entrepreneurs and teacher founders with high growth potential. We will continue to play a role as a base for the establishment of the Southeast region by utilizing our university's strengths." <Pukyong Today>
