국립부경대, 탄자니아 수산양식 역량강화 초청연수 수료식 개최
- 탄자니아 수산인 15명 14일간 선진 양식기술·정책 집중 연수

국립부경대학교 해양수산개발국제협력연구소(소장 박원규)는 3월 12일 오후 동원장보고관 리더십홀에서 탄자니아 수산양식 역량강화 초청연수 수료식을 개최했다.
이번 연수는 한국국제협력단(KOICA) 지원으로 추진 중인 ‘탄자니아 잔지바르 수산 양식장 역량강화 사업’의 3차년도 과정으로, 지난 2월 28일부터 2주간 일정으로 진행됐다.
인도양을 접한 아프리카 탄자니아 잔지바르 지역의 고부가가치 양식품종 생산량을 늘릴 수 있도록 수산양식기술 역량을 기르는 것이 이 연수의 목표다.
이날 연수에 참가한 탄자니아 잔지바르 청색경제수산부 차관보 1명을 포함해 청색경제수산부, 잔지바르 해양배양장, 잔지바르 수산해양자원연구소 소속의 양식기술자 등 총 15명(고위직 1명, 실무직 14명)이 과정을 모두 마치고 수료증을 받았다.
해당 연수 프로그램은 1차년도 초청연수, 2차년도 현지연수, 3차년도 초청연수의 방식으로 진행되었으며, 부산시 수산자원연구소 등 해양수산 분야 기관을 방문하여 한국의 수산양식 기술과 정책 운영 현황을 직접 확인하며 정책·기술·현장 적용 역량을 길렀다.
한편, 국립부경대 해양수산개발국제협력연구소는 해양수산부, KOICA 등과 협력해 개발도상국, 원양협력국에 우리나라의 선진 수산 기술을 전수하기 위한 사업들을 펼치고 있다.
Pukyong National University Holds Completion Ceremony for Invitation-Based Training Program to Strengthen Tanzania’s Aquaculture Capacity
- Fifteen Tanzanian fisheries professionals complete a 14-day intensive training program on advanced aquaculture technologies and policies
The Institute for International Cooperation in Fisheries and Ocean Development at Pukyong National University (Director Won-Gyu Park) held a completion ceremony on March 12 at the Leadership Hall of the Dongwon Jang Bogo Building for an invitation-based training program to strengthen aquaculture capacity in Tanzania.
This training was conducted as part of the third year of the “Capacity Building Project for Aquaculture in Zanzibar, Tanzania,” supported by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and took place over a two-week period starting on February 28.
A total of 15 participants―including one Assistant Minister from the Ministry of Blue Economy and Fisheries of Zanzibar, Tanzania, as well as aquaculture technicians from the Ministry of Blue Economy and Fisheries, the Zanzibar Marine Aquaculture Center, and the Zanzibar Fisheries and Marine Resources Research Institute―(1 senior official and 14 working-level staff)―completed the program and received their certificates.
The training program was conducted in three phases―an invitation-based program in the first year, a local training program in the second year, and another invitation-based program in the third year. As part of the program, participants visited institutions in the marine and fisheries sector, including the Busan Fisheries Resources Research Institute, where they directly observed Korea’s aquaculture technologies and policy operations, thereby enhancing their policy, technical, and field application capabilities.
Meanwhile, the Institute for International Cooperation in Fisheries and Ocean Development at Pukyong National University has been carrying out various initiatives in cooperation with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and KOICA to transfer Korea’s advanced fisheries technologies to developing countries and distant-water partner nations. <Pukyong Today>
