 Pukyong Today 부경대생 아토피질병에 솔잎가루 효과 증명 식품공학과 이청조씨 한국식품영양과학회 우수포스터 발표상 

부경대학교 식품공학과 이청조 학생(25․박사과정1년)은 솔잎 에탄올 추출물이 아토피 질병에 효과가 있다는 사실을 증명했다.

식품공학과 이청조 학생. 이 씨는 인위적으로 염증을 유발한 쥐의 피부에 솔잎 가루에서 추출한 천연물질을 직접 도포한 결과, 쥐의 피부염증과 아토피 유발 면역인자가 감소된다는 사실을 밝혀냈다.
 
그는 이 연구를 정리한 포스터 ‘아토피 질병에 대한 솔잎 에탄올 추출물 억제 효과(Inhibitory Effects of Pine needle Ethanol Extracts on Atopic Disease)’를 한국식품영양과학회 학술발표회에 발표해 우수포스터 발표상을 받았다.
 
이 씨는 “솔잎에서 추출한 천연물질을 피부에 직접 도포한 실험은 이번이 처음.”이라면서, “실험결과를 특허 출원 중이며, 아토피에 효과가 있는 천연물질을 지속적으로 찾을 예정이다.”라고 말했다.
 
한편 부경대 식품공학과 식품자원개발연구실 연구팀은 다양한 천연물질을 활용하여 아토피 및 피부질환 치료 연구와 실용적인 치료제 개발 연구를 진행하고 있다.<부경투데이>

A student at PKNU proved that the powder of the pine needles has an effect of easing the pain of the atopic disease.
The student is Lee Chung Joe, whose major is Food Science and Technology.
She won an award for an announcement of the excellent poster by Korean Society of Food Science and Nutrition.
A student at PKNU whose name is Lee Chung Joe (She is in the doctoral program) proved that an extract of the pine needles containing the ethanol has an effect of relieving the atopic disease.
In this process of the experiment showing the effect of the natural materials extracted from the powder of the pine needles, she spread the natural materials on the skin of the mice that had an infection of the atopic disease artificially. After that, she realized that an atopic dermatitis which the mice had was getting better than before considerably. Also, she found that immunity factors which cause the atopic disease decreased substantially.
She announced the poster showing the result of her experiment, and she got prize for an excellent presentation which title is ‘Inhibitory Effects of Pine needle Ethanol Extracts on Atopic Disease’ in the conference which was held by the Korean Society of Food Science and Nutrition.
She said, “It is my first time to try to spread the natural materials extracted from the pine needle on the skin.” Also, “I am applying for a patent for the result of my experiment, and I am going to strive to find the natural materials continuously which have an effect of relieving the atopic disease.” she added.
Meanwhile, a research team of the Department of Food Science and Technology in PKNU have pursued an investigation to develop effective medicine which can perform well using the variety of the natural materials constantly. <Pukyong Today>
