            부산과 대마도 간 문화교류 연구 등 대마도 관련 연구가 본격화될 전망이다.
부경대학교(총장 박맹언) 대마도연구센터(센터장 이근우 교수)와 국회대마도포럼(대표 허태열 국회의원)은 5월 28일 10시 30분 부경대 대연캠퍼스 대학본부 3층 회의실에서 한국 도서 정책의 발전과 국제적 인식을 제고하기 위한 공동 연구사업 및 상호 협력을 위한 협정을 체결했다.
이날 행사에는 국회대마도포럼 대표의원인 허태열 의원을 비롯 김용구, 노철래, 김성동, 김옥이, 이상권, 이애주 의원 등 포럼 소속의원들이 대거 참석했다.
이번 협약으로 양 기관은 대마도포럼을 매년 2회씩 공동 개최하고, △지역 차원의 대마도 주민에 대한 부산지역 의료혜택 제공 추진, △대마도 고교생들의 한국 유학 추진, △대마도 투자 및 관광사업 활성화 연구, △대마도와의 교류증진을 위한 양 지역 간의 정기 교류행사 확대, △부산문화교류센터 대마도 설립 추진 등 부산과 대마도에 대한 심화 연구 및 한반도 도서들에 대한 총체적인 연구를 공동으로 진행해 나갈 계획이다.
지난 2009년 설립된 부경대 대마도연구센터는 국내 유일의 대마도연구기관으로, ‘부산과 대마도의 2천년’, ‘한국수산지’ 등의 연구서를 번역 발간하는 등 활발한 연구 활동을 펼치고 있다. 국회대마도포럼은 2010년 설립됐으며 현재 39명의 국회의원들이 활동하고 있다.
한편 이장호 부산은행장은 이날 행사에 참석, 체계적이고 종합적인 대마도 연구 지원을 위해 발전기금 3천만원을 부경대에 전달했다.<부경투데이>

            PKNU Tsushima Island Research Center – National Assembly Tsushima Island Forum cooperated with each other to study Tsushima Island.

            - ‘What is Tsushima Island for us?’… The studies on Tsushima Island are being carried out.

            - Busan Bank donated 30 million won to support this research.
The studies on Tsushima Island including the cultural exchanges are expected to be conducted.
PKNU which president is Park Maeng Eon and PKNU Tsushima Island Research Center which director is Lee Geun Woo who is also a PKNU professor made an agreement with National Assembly Tsushima Island Forum which representative is National Assembly Heo Tae Yeol about the development of the policy related to Korean documents, the collaborative research projects, and the mutual cooperation to improve the global recognition of Tsushima Island on May 28th at 10:30 A.M. at the meeting room on the third of Administration Building in Daeyeon campus in PKNU.
Many Assemblymen belonging to National Assembly Tsushima Island Forum attended this conference including Heo Tae Yeol, Kim Yong Gu, Noh Cheol Rae, Kim Seong Dong, Kim Ock Yi, Lee Sang Gwon, and Lee Ae Ju.
Through this arrangement, both of two institutes are going to hold Tsushima Island Forum every 2 years. In addition, they will help high school students in Tsushima to study in Korea and strive to invigorate the tourism industry by investing much money. Moreover, they will try to promote the cultural exchanges by hosting public events. Finally, they are planning to establish Cultural Exchange Center for the relationship between Busan and Tsushima Island to conduct the overall studies together including the research about many documents related in Tsushima.
PKNU Tsushima Island Research Center is the only institute to study Tsushima Island in the country which was established in 2009. It has published many books by translating the related research materials including Busan and Tsushima Island for the Last 2000 Years, The History of Korea’s Fishing Industry. National Assembly Tsushima Island Forum was founded in 2010, and now there are 39 members of the National Assembly.
Meanwhile, the president of Busan Bank, Lee Jang Ho attended this meeting, and contributed 30 million won to PKNU to support the overall researches. <Pukyong Today>
