부경대학교가 교육부 주관 교육역량강화사업에 선정됐다. 이 사업이 시작된 2008년 이래 6년 연속 선정된 것이다.
부경대는 7월 9일 교육부가 발표한 2013년도 교육역량강화사업 1단계 정량평가 결과에서 사업지원 대학으로 선정됐다.
교육부는 이날 올해 교육역량강화사업에 신청한 전국 150개 대학 가운데 교육여건 및 성과를 나타내는 교육지표를 평가하여 부경대 등 상위 72개 대학을 사업지원 대상 대학으로 확정했다.
평가지표는 취업률, 재학생 충원율, 교원확보율, 학사관리 및 교육과정 운영, 장학금 지급율, 학생교육투자, 등록금 부담완화지수 등이다.
교육부는 이날 발표한 하위 18개 대학의 경우 1단계 정량평가 결과와 2단계 정성평가결과를 종합하여 7월말 최종지원여부를 결정한다고 밝혔다.
각 대학별 사업지원 금액은 2단계 평가가 완료되는 7월말 최종 확정된다.
한편 부경대는 2012년 교육역량강화사업에 선정되면서 전국 97개 대학 중 가장 많은 42억2천만 원의 지원금을 받은 것을 비롯, 2011년 우수사례 공모 우수 대학, 2010년 성과평가 우수 대학 및 사업계획 컨설팅 결과 최우수 대학, 2009년 우수사례 공모 우수 대학 및 성과평가 결과 우수 대학으로 선정되는 등 해마다 좋은 성과를 내고 있다.<부경투데이>

The Ministry of Education announced that Pukyong National University has been selected for the first phase of the 2013 Education Empowerment Project on July 10th in the aspect of quantitative assessment.
The index includes the employment rate, student reinforcement rate, management of academic affairs and curriculum, scholarship rate, education investment, and index of tuition fee.
The Ministry of Education will announce their final support plan for 18 universities at the end of July after checking the quantitative and qualitative assessment results.
As soon as it finishes the evaluation of the 18 universities, the supporting sum for each university will finally be decided.
Pukyong National University is maintaining its reputation by producing a good outcome annually: it was chosen for the 2012 Education Empowerment Project with the highest support sum, 4.2 billion and 20 million won, among 97 universities. It was also selected as one of the most outstanding universities in 2011 with an excellent evaluation result.
