대학이 ‘찾아가는 희망인문학’을 기치로 부산 경남지역의 장애인들을 찾아가 시를 가르쳐 ‘공동시집을 가진 어엿한 시인’으로 만들어 화제다. 한국연구재단 주관 부경대학교 기장인문도시지원사업단(책임교수 채영희·국어국문학과)은 부산 경남 지역 장애인들을 대상으로 시 창작 교육프로그램인 ‘시랑 놀기’를 운영해 「다! 詩다」라는 제목의 시집을 발간했다고 15일 밝혔다. 시를 쓴 주인공은 한국장애인고용공단 부산직업능력개발원(기장군 정관읍 산단 5로) 소속 교육생인 강은진 씨 등 29명. 10대부터 60대까지 다양한 연령층의 이 ‘시인’들은 지난해 9월부터 11월까지 12주 동안 매주 월요일 저녁 7시부터 2시간씩 ‘시랑 놀기’ 강의실에서 난생 처음 시를 배워 시를 썼다. 박정민 씨는 ‘시선’이라는 제목의 시에서 “쑥덕쑥덕 속삭속삭 속상속상 그때마다 술 한 잔 먹고 싶다”면서 장애인에 대한 일반의 시선에 일침을 날린다. 신민준 씨의 시 ‘눈’은 “나는 사람들의 눈이 무섭소. 그 눈이 차가운 눈(雪) 같은 느낌이라오.”라면서 독자들의 가슴을 아리게 했다.
김영민 씨는 ‘지렁이’에서 “밟지 마세요. 꿈틀, 지렁이도 슬퍼요. 나도 친구들이 있어요. 사랑하는 가족들이 있어요.”라고 세상을 향해 외친다. 이들의 감동적인 시는 시화전으로 독자들과 만나고 있다. 기장군청 로비(10일~17일)에서 시작된 시화전은 정관도서관(18일~27일), 부산직업능력개발원(28일~6월 4일) 등 3곳에서 열린다. ‘시랑 놀기’ 강의를 진행한 김순아 강사는 “학생들이 처음에는 시를 어려워했지만 내면의 목소리를 시로 표현하면서 당당해지는 마음을 느꼈다.”면서, “시라는 매체를 통해 자신과 남, 자연을 이해하고 소통하는 소중한 시간을 가졌다.”고 말했다. 한편 한국연구재단 주관 부경대 기장인문도시지원사업단은 지난 2016년 7월부터 인문학으로 기장 사람들의 삶을 행복하게 만들자는 취지로 다양한 강좌와 체험활동, 축제 등 인문교육 프로그램을 운영해 큰 호응을 받아왔다. <부경투데이> It is a topic to make a college student to visit the disabled people in the Busan Gyeongnam area with the aim of 'hopeful humanities to visit' and make them 'a poet with a common poetry'. Those who wrote the poem were Kang Eun-jin and 29 other students belonging to the Busan Vocational Ability Development Institute of Busan Employment Agency of Korea (Gijang-gun Jeonggwan-eup, Industrial Complex 5). These poets of various ages ranging from teenagers to 60s spent the first two weeks in the classroom for two hours starting from 7:00 pm every Monday for 12 weeks from September to November last year at 'Sirang Nolgi' class room, and these poets learned and wrote poetry for the first time in their life. In a poem titled 'Eyes', Park Jung-min criticizes the public's view of the disabled by saying, "In an undertone, in whispers, so sad, I want to have a drink." Shin Min-joon's poem "Eyes" means "I'm scared of people's eyes. The eyes are like cold snow." In Bang Hyun-joo's poem 'To Bang Hyun-joo', she is saying, "Hyun-joo, are you afraid of the world. Are you guilty, why cannot you walk even a footstep that everyone else can do. But you can speak well. Heaven knows your pain. In the next life, be a bird in heaven and fly in the sky as you like, "she recited the pain and hope of living as a disabled person. Kim Young-min, in his poem 'Earthworm', "Do not step on. wigglling, the earthworms are sad, too. I have friends too. I have loved families, "he cries out to the world. Their impressive poetry is meeting with their readers in an exhibition of illustrated poems which is started at the lobby of Gijang-gun Office (10th ~ 17th), will be held in three libraries: Jeonggwan Library (18th ~ 27th) and the Busan Employment Agency (28th ~ 4th June). Kim Soon-a, who lectured on "Sirang Nolgi," said, "Students initially felt difficult to poetry but expressed their inner voices as poetry sooner and they started to get confidence, I had a precious time to understand and communicate with myself, nature, and nature through poetry." Meanwhile, The Pukyong National University's Gijang Humanities Cities Support Project hosted by the Korea Research Foundation has been receiving a great reputation since July 2016, as it aims to make people's lives happier in humanities by operating diverse lectures, experiential activities and festivals. <Pukyong Today> |
방현주 씨는 시 ‘방현주에게’에서 “현주야 세상이 무섭니 무슨 죄 있어 남들 다 걷는 걸음도 못 걷니 그래도 말은 잘 할 수 있잖니 하늘은 네 아픔 알지 않겠니 다음 생에는 하늘 나는 새가 되어 저 하늘 맘껏 날아다니자”며 장애인으로 사는 고통과 희망을 읊었다.
