부경대학교가 기록관리 ‘최우수’ 기관으로 선정됐다. 행정안전부 국가기록원이 최근 발표한 2019년 기록관리 기관평가 결과에 따르면 부경대는 가장 높은 등급인 가등급을 획득했다. 기록관리 기관평가는 공공기관의 기록관리 역량강화 및 체계정착을 위해 해마다 추진되고 있다. 올해는 국‧공립대, 중앙행정기관, 특별지방행정기관, 정부산하 공공기관 등 316개 기관을 대상으로 진행돼 가등급부터 마등급까지 5개 등급을 부여했다. 부경대는 이번 평가에서 △기록관리 업무기반 △기록관리 업무추진 △기록관리 서비스 및 업무개선 등 정량평가와 정성평가 등 모든 분야에서 우수한 평가를 받아 총점 100.1점(105점 만점)을 기록했다. 부경대는 특히 대학 중요기록물을 정리하고 데이터베이스를 구축해 기록물 가치 제고 및 효율적 이용을 추진한 점을 높이 평가받았다. 부경대 기록관(관장 오정환)은 보유하고 있는 중요기록물을 선별하고 체계적인 정리를 통해 전문적 관리환경 및 원활한 열람 기반을 구축하고, 고(古)기록물 및 특수 유형 기록물의 데이터베이스 구축을 통해 추가 훼손 방지 및 효율적인 열람 서비스를 제공해 왔다. 국가기록원은 이번 평가에서 우수기관 가운데 선정을 통해 포상 등 인센티브를 주고 미흡 기관에는 실태점검과 컨설팅 등을 진행해 기록관리를 개선하도록 할 방침이다. 부경대는 지난 2017년에도 기록관리 기관평가에서 가등급을 받는 등 대학 기록물의 체계적 관리 성과를 인정받고 있다. <부경투데이> Pukyong National University was selected as the best institution for records management. According to the latest results of the 2019 records management institution's evaluation released by the National Archives of Korea, Pukyong National University obtained the highest rating, the provisional grade. The evaluation of records management institutions is being carried out every year to strengthen the records management capacity and establish the system of public institutions. This year, 316 institutions, including national and public universities, central administrative agencies, special local administrative agencies, and government-affiliated public institutions, were awarded five grades, ranging from Ga (A) grades to Ma (E) grades. Pukyong National University scored a total of 100.1 points (out of total 105 points) with excellent evaluations in all areas including △ record management work base △ record management work promotion △ record management service and job improvement. Pukyong National University was especially praised for promoting efficient use, such as organizing important university records and building a database to increase the value of records. Pukyong National University Archives (Director Oh Jeong-hwan) selects and retains important records, establishes a professional management environment and a smooth reading base, and has been provides additional damage prevention and efficient reading services by establishing a database of old records and special types of records. In this evaluation, the National Archives of Korea is planning to give incentives such as awards by selecting among excellent organizations, and improve records management by conducting inspections and consulting for unsuccessful organizations.
